Green and Kendall Bryant Jr.
Over the past week our beautiful city where we film The Back Pages has been ravaged by a massive wildfire. Thousands were evacuated and hundreds of our Redding friends lost their homes. We have a long way to go and a lot of hard work ahead of us as the fire still burns, but we’re confident that we’ll comeback even stronger than before. If you’d like to donate to help the victims of the Carr Fire follow the link in our bio for a list of donation options including The Red Cross, Salvation Army, and United Way. Thank you all for the prayers and support!

GOING LIVE! Tomorrow morning at 10am PST, Executive Producer/Cinematographer Kendall Bryant Jr. and Writer/Director T.L. Green will be going live on Facebook to read and discuss our recent Amazon Prime reviews. The good, the bad, and the ugly, they’re going to cover it all! If you haven’t reviewed us yet on Amazon be sure to do so tonight so you can have your review read live tomorrow!
Have you seen the incredible cast of Season 1 Episode 3 “To Belong” in action yet?? Check out their amazing performances now streaming on Amazon Prime Instant Video! (Also in the episode, not pictured here, is the ever-talented John Welsh who gives a crowd-pleasing performance as Pappy, don’t miss it!)
Make films with what you have! For Season 2 of the series, our centerpieces to production were a Panasonic GH5, Atmos Ninja Flame, and a Zoom H6 with a Rode mic. While this setup may be costly for the first time filmmaker, the important point here is that you don’t have to have an Arri Alexa to create great content. If you have the desire to be a filmmaker, start shooting with whatever you have rather that be an iPhone or an older model DSLR. Through the process you’ll grow as a storyteller and develop a filmmaking resourcefulness that will help you even when you’re eventually working with more expensive equipment. Go create!
Happy Sunday! Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at capturing the dance shots from Season 1 Episode 2 “Piqué Par la Mort”😃
We’re so thankful to live in a place where we have the freedom to pursue our dreams! Have a safe and fun day celebrating Independence Day!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
It’s #TeamMemberTuesday with actress Colleen De Silva! I. Not only is Colleen talented and beautiful, but she’s also a joy to work with on set. See her stellar performance as Pearl in Season 1 Episode 4 “Innocence Escaped” now streaming on Amazon Prime Instant Video!
#tfw you realize you’re not the only person in your selfie👀😱
because sometimes the best tripod is a large brown couch😃🎥🛋👍
Back at you all with a very special #TeamMemeberTuesday today. Meet the beautiful and talented Kate English, our costume designer extraordinaire! We’re seriously not sure how The Back Pages could exist without her. Time and time again she was able to utilize her creativity to pull off the most amazing costumes while working with an extremely small budget. Sadly we’ll be losing Kate to LA soon😢 Hopefully we’ll be able to convince her to return to work on future episodes of The Back Pages!
#tbt Actor Jason Day, Cinematographer Kendall Bryant Jr., and Director T.L. Green take a moment to review a shot on the set of Season 1 Episode 4 “Innocence Escaped”. If you haven’t seen our western episode yet, check it out on Amazon Prime Instant Video. It’s a rootin’ tootin’ good time!🤠
