Lex, heavily awarded in track and field- shared the story of loosing his vision at 8 years old, and the journey to seeing the world his own way. When asked if he would want his sight back if given the opportunity, he replied “No, there is nothing in my life that would make me any more happy with sight, but it may ruin some things, I may have a few moments of - oh wait that’s what you look like?” It was a session of laughter and self realization.
