This is your Chief speaking. In life you deserve what you tolerate and you tolerate what you deserve. If you're okay with being average, then that's what you deserve. If you're really not okay with being average then you don't deserve to be average. Youll prove it by your actions. And then youll be special. HooYah #thisisyourchiefspeaking

Hooyah to the cadets from PJOC class 2018 Couldn't be here for this one but heard great reports. Ran this program in New Mexico at my ranch for years and am a big believer in it. Start while you're young! You won't regret it! #PJOC

📸: Always Remember fallen PJ Mike Maltz. Mike was a Super Hero of a man who was remembered by teammates of the historic 1730th Pararescue Squadron: @pjmosweet
as a "great friend, and squared away PJ."

Today, we honor an amazing man. My uncle Michael, raised me taught me how to be a man. Taught me about women, how to workout in the gym, and many of my lessons on life of being a gentleman. Something not many people know about him, yes he was a US Air Force special forces member, and a pararescueman. he had almost 25 years end of service, and he was retired, but he was one of the most highly valued members of the PJ community because he taught other members overseas in Afghanistan on the field as well as in the US, of the presidents coveted JSOC. He was called back into action directly from the president United States at the time, Bush because there was a lot of young pj’s and ccts coming in through the 38th RSQ as well as standard AFSOC that needed to have somebody with experience in the combat rescue stage during actual combat missions. In layman‘s terms, he had the most experience most other PJs, so the presidents SOCOM commanders directly needed him for the global war on terror. Unfortunately, immediately after his deployment started and only three days after the war in Iraq started, his Helo pavehawk went down in Ghazni, Afghanistan. And he was taken from us doing what he always believed in. His life and his career was solely based on rescuing others and hostile territory that no other team would go in. There is no greater glory nor servitude to this nation in my opinion what my uncle did for his career and day to day. Not only was he my personal hero, but he was the hero of many others. Too bad they had to call him out of retirement, and too bad he was the best at what he did, otherwise he would still be here with us today. But I know he would not have had his life any other way he did not except second place.. RIP Uncle Mike, thinking of you every second.

Who's gunna be our next Top Performer?
This is your Chief Speakin. As the @socomathlete
Director of Training, I want you all to understand that passing the PAST test isn't good enough. You're recruiters try hard, they really do, but they aren't operators, never were, and probably won't ever be. Stop asking your recruiters what it's like to be a PJ, and ask a real PJ because this is our career-field and our story. Your recruiters have not been borderline drowning or hypothermic and pushed past breaking point daily in a team training environment. Most recruiters have never served on an assault force or in combat or a gun fight...Most.
They are learning second-hand from US, the operators, and only know what we are willing and able to show them. Being a Special Operator isn't for everyone, and if you think the PAST is a good indicator of your developmental status as a candidate, you are wrong.
Tandem MFF 22,000 ft above ground level w/ oxygen. Full wall locker none of that Hollywood crap. Scanned this old picture from up at JSOC.
Listen up pups this is your Chief speakin and this is where brotherhood starts: This was your advanced group from our @socomathlete
SD event Saturday. If you can't make it through this, don't even try for selection.
Out of the 19 people that registered for this event, on 13 made it to this point. 9 out of the 13 are either active duty or prior service. I can only imagine what it was like for a civilian to come in here off the street and get a taste of SOF pipelines. HOOYAH
This is your Chief speaking, in this photo today I was really pushing these boys on the beach in honor of our Rescue Warriors lost on PEDRO66. It's important that we push past our fears and personal comforts to honor our fallen brothers and get our teammates home when they need us the most. Wanted to say I was impressed with your performance today. Not everyone survived through the full event today, but these men did and Hooyah to each and every one of you.
This is some raw video footage emailed to me of some of the bravest men the world has ever seen. Honor them by remembering and praying for their sacrafice on June 6, 1944 so that others may live.
Follow my brothers @navysealrecruiter
they are coming up with a good game plan on taking care of all you SEAL wannabes out there & getting you off to BUDs quicker
