Heard this from @meganauman
yesterday and thought I should put it on a post-it as a reminder.
I'm taking her Market Your Selfie course, which I signed up for a while back but perfectly fits with my #getoutofyourcomfortzone
project. Because 🙋🏻♀️ and selfies aren't exactly best friends right now 🤣
So back to these words from Megan... oh my goodness. We have enough gremlin voices in our heads to deal with. We don't need to add other people's #insecurities
to add to the messiness in the 🤯
So, for example, somebody in the class said she was worried about her double chin. And for a split second, there was a voice in my head that went, “OMG, I’ve got double chin too!” .... And then, as if she heard my inner neurotic, Megan said the words: “Don’t take on other people’s insecurities!”🌈
Let's not feel like we have to be self-conscious about something we've never been worried about just because somebody else is, cool beans?
