Day 4! Almost halfway through my cleanse. 4 days may not seem like much, but to some it's everything. Anyone can start something but then give up after a few days because they are not where they want to be. But look at the changes you have been from then to now. Maybe you have lost some inches, your cloths are looser and so on. The point is, dont gove up on yourself. If you do then you will be where you started. You have already come so far, even in just a few days. Failing to plan is planning to fail. Not only did I plan out my meals for the week but also the weekend. Being consistent and sticking to your goals on the weekend has been hard for me in the past. So this weekend I am making sure I stick to them! So this is a little hard for me to share. The picture on the left is of course me in September 2016. I saw it today and just wanted to cry. I almost didn't recognize myself. I had honestly let myself go and gotten up to my heaviest weight of 290lbs. I was SO unhappy with myself to the point of where I just hated myself. I hated looking in the mirror, I hated taking pictures (and I just love to take pictures). I'd cry and judge myself everyday and put myself down. I was down right disgusted with myself. Then one month later, I woke up one day and told myself i didn't want to live like that anymore. I couldn't live like that anymore. So I decided something had to change and I got to work. Now it has been 1 year and 4 months since i decided to make a lifestyle change. I'm am so so much happier in life and I love to look in the mirror again. I have gained so much confidence then I ever have in my life. How does that saying go? Pictures are worth a thousand words? Yesterday was day 10 of my cleanse and I LOST 12 POUNDS. I didn't starve myself, I ate about 6 times a day. Did I hit a few bumps in the road and have a bad day or 2? I sure did! But I didn't let that stop me. Taking care of yourself and making yourself a priority isn't a bad thing. It's showing how much you love yourself. If I am able to do this then so are you!
