Trying a new Vitamin C serum by @naturabisse
☺️👍🏻. I’m only a few days in so the verdict is still out but I feel like I can see a small difference. Do you use a Vit C serum or any other serums? Would love to know which one you use!! 👇🏻☺️
We got a good giggle out of his costume but by the end of the night he had an army accessory, one heavy SWAT vest and a navy seal who wanted only daddy’s hand. 👉🏻 swipe to see. Let’s call it a #tie
Never let your wife pick out your Halloween costume. Or at LEAST try it on before the day. I wanted Navy Seaman. I got Stay Puft Marshmallow. Revenge is coming. #Wife1 #Hubby0
I normally don’t post these types of modeling pics. BUT regarding the topic and discussion I’m about to have, I thought this picture was appropriate and honestly an easy way to grab your attention. So here we go...October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We are closing out the month and after an encouraging and supportive pep talk from my husband, Im feeling brave enough to show my vulnerable side and share some personal information in hopes that it will help raise awareness.
. In June I was wrestling with my boys and enjoying the laughter and giggles that surrounded me. I took my attention off my youngest for 2 seconds and he landed a perfect body slam on top of my chest. I cried out in pain which shocked both my boys and myself. I’m pretty tough and can handle a two year olds body weight but I felt as if someone stabbed me. I immediately started to rub my right “boob” and noticed that there was a lump. After obsessively palpating the area and finding no other bumps, I called my doc.
.After our exam she calmed my worries and said she didn’t think it was cancer but still wanted to schedule a mammogram and ultrasound. Two weeks later we found out it was not cancer but a cyst, which is actually common for women to have.
.During those two weeks and even now I truly think about my breast exams differently. Before June I would occasional do my own breast exams but really thought nothing of it. I’m thankful for my rambunctious 2 year old and how our little wrestling session has turned into a life lesson in a way. I’m more careful, aware and in tune with my body now. I’m fortunate that my situation turned out as it did, as I have family and friends who have had the other outcome and it’s traumatic and scary. Honestly I don’t even know how long that lump had been there and feel embarrassed thinking about it because it was so obvious after my youngest landed on it. .
. Hopefully this post is making all the ladies and men palpate their chest ☺️ and tune into their bodies. Breast Cancer, and all other cancers suck. My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have encountered cancer.
