Ultimate goal: better than yesterday. Average has never been a part of my life. I’ve always pushed myself to be better. I fought for the life I live today. And that’s why I’m so happy. I worked my ass off and all that hard work is what makes it so great. Standing stronger than I’ve ever been with a smile.
I always knew I wanted more out of life. Growing up I never really fit in. I was always independent and did my own thing. I was bullied a lot for being different from everyone else. I remember waking up and dreading walking through those school doors because I knew what was coming. Being made fun of for who you are is probably one of the worst feelings ever. I’m sure some of you can relate. School was really hard on me growing up especially middle school. The bullying turned physical and it really had an emotional toll on me. I’m grateful that my family stayed by my side to pick my up during those hard times. Looking back at it now, I can see how much stronger these experiences have made me. Life is not easy. There’s going to be storms. Never give up on yourself. Just keep going because the rainbow is right around the corner. 😊

I’ve come a long way from the woman I was a few years ago. I was in a mentally and physically unhealthy place. I just got sick of where I was in life. I knew deep down that I am better than that. So I changed. I changed everything. I changed my diet. I changed my friends (yes, who you hang around is a reflection of YOU) I focused more on school, and really got into working out and taking care of my body. I’ve overcome so much and I’m proud of the woman I am today. 💜 - The moral of this story is if you aren’t happy where you are in life change it. The only person that’s in charge of your life is you. You have to make that change if you want true happiness. Change is not easy but the reward is so worth it. You can do it!
Stay consistent. Keep showing up. Keep pushing. Keep improving. 👊🏼 - If you think you only need to give your best for a week, month, year... you won’t go far. You have to give your all every day if you want to be successful. Consistency is the key to success in life. Consistency is putting 100% into every day. It’s every day. Every day working harder than yesterday. Even when it seems hopeless keep pushing. You will never be great until you’re consistent. Never give up. Stay consistent.
What are you grateful for? I personally have so much to be grateful for; my friends, family, education, health. Often times we take this for granted. Take time today to think about what you are grateful for because there’s someone out there who wishes they had what you have.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. -Deuteronomy 31:6
Get out of your comfort zone. Stop only doing what you’re used to and start doing things that challenge you. That’s how you grow. Try something new. Get awkward and uncomfortable. That’s life. You can’t expect to live a good life by only doing what you’re used to. So I challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and never stop improving yourself.
Confidence is beautiful. Comparing yourself to others and wishing you were something that you are not is nothing more than a waste of time. Everyone is different. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. That’s what makes everyone so unique. So embrace who you are and that is when you will truly succeed.
Don’t let anyone in this life tell you that you can’t accomplish your dreams. If you have a dream go after it and don’t let anyone stop you. Use the doubters words as fuel to prove them wrong. Most importantly, chase your dreams for you. This is your life. Every day is a new day to work harder than you did yesterday. Get it done and never let anyone get in the way of your goals. 💪🏼
I’m a strong believer in the power of prayer. I’ve been through many hard times in my life and I’ve always found peace in talking to God. I’ve also had many good times in my life and I’ve enjoyed thanking God. I think prayer is seriously underestimated now of days. No matter what the situation is -give it to God and pray. Prayer has helped me tremendously and I’m sure it’ll help you too. 😁

People come in and out of our life for different reasons. Some come to serve as supporters and motivators; others, to teach a lesson. No matter what, that person is in or was in your life for a reason. Be grateful for the uplifting people. The people who push you to be better every day and I’m proud to call these people friends. 😊 - If there’s someone in your life who is a negative influence - get rid of them. Trust me it’s worth it in the end. Life is too short for negativity. Surround yourself with people who care about you and want to see you succeed. Positive energy is contagious!
What does it mean to be inspired? It means someone who goes above and beyond expectations. Someone who is constantly improving themselves. Someone who wants to help and motivate others to succeed. I am inspired. I am #BlueLineFit
Headed back down to South Carolina today for more photoshoots and visiting friends. Really looking forward to my last trip of the summer. #BlueLineFit
Alpha female. Who is she? She’s gets up when life keeps knocking her down. She never backs down. She lifts up and helps other women. She’s a go getter. She’s ambitious, passionate. She has dreams and goals. She refuses to settle for average because she knows she’s better than that. She doesn’t play games and knows when to walk away. She is an elite breed and will never stop improving herself. #AlphaFemale
My fitness journey has had its ups and downs. There were days I felt like giving up because I wasn’t seeing the results. It took me years to get to where I am today. The key to seeing results is discipline and trusting the process. Even if you don’t see results right away keep pushing. Eat healthy, work hard in the gym and never give up. You’ll eventually see results and let me tell you it’s such a rewarding feeling. Stay the course! 💪🏼
There’s no better feeling than seeing hard work pay off. It’s Monday but don’t make that an excuse to not get that training in. The grind includes Monday. Pay those dues 💪🏼💯
Often times I find myself looking so forward to my future I forget to appreciate the present. I’m taking the day off from school and training to focus on being in the present. I’ve come a long way and I’m happy where I’m at. 😊
