Appreciation post for my sister, Jessie. She’s been killing her workouts and closely watching her nutrition. All of her hard work has been translating to some awesome progress. She recently won money in a fat loss challenge by dropping 2% body fat while gaining muscle mass in an 8 week time period. Unfortunately, she just had knee surgery to repair a ligament that was injured a couple years back. Her recovery will be very hard on her, as she is used to a very active lifestyle. - LEG WORKOUT - - Here’s a killer leg workout I did yesterday. - As the reps decrease on each set, add weight. On the drop set of leg extensions, complete the set of 8, drop the weight about 20%, then perform as many reps as possible. First off, the form on the top is not wrong. The bicep muscle will benefit from this form; however, it is not optimal. When the dumbbell curl is performed this way, the short head of the bicep is primarily being activated. - The form on the bottom focuses on supination of the wrist.
