I proceeded to work for 2 years as an ER veterinarian in a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Hospital. While I loved my job and being there for animals and their owners in times of need, I still felt that I had more to offer than being a civilian vet. I had always wanted to serve my country and decided what better way to serve than helping to heal and treat our four legged soldiers. I have already been able to witness the unspeakable bond that develops between a working dog and their handler and it is truly amazing. @svets_7 USAF I was born in Russia and I was in an orphanage until I was four years old. After I was adopted, I grew up in Pittsburgh PA with my new family until I left for the United States Air Force in 2008. I have been in the United States Air Force for over 10 years as Security Forces. I’ve been to Qatar and deployed to Afghanistan. I love the gym, eating, shopping, reading, traveling, petting all the puppies at pet stores, and shooting are some of my hobbies. I am currently working towards another career on the Air Force as well as the civilian side and finishing my Bachelors Degree.
