MAKE DO WITH WHAT YOU HAVE .. I wanted to add some close grip lat pulldowns to my back workout, but this particular Gold's Express gym doesn't have a dedicated machine/setup for them. .. But they had the right handle and I wasn't afraid to sit on the floor, so I got after it! .. Interestingly enough, the resistance curve was actually a bit different, too; the resistance was greater towards full contraction, which made for a nice change/variation. .. GLUED GLUTES | LEG PRESS .. 👉 Range of motion (ROM) is important, but going too far can leave you vulnerable to injury, even during an exercise such as the leg press. .. 👉 Going too deep can not only recruit more glutes than quads, it can put more strain on your lower back. .. 👉 How far is too far? It depends -- shorter femurs vs. longer femurs, etc. .. 👉 Keep your GLUTES GLUED to the pad, and keep the tension on your quads. ..
