This is real life motivation, I just keep rewatching it and it gives me the chills every time! 💪🏼💥
“There are certain things we just can’t control, but something we can control is our ability and preparedness to help people. Whether it be helping ourselves, helping coworkers or helping the public. When some one calls for help they’re depending on us to be there and be ready. We’re doing each other a massive disservice if we aren’t training and taking care of ourselves. We should constantly be striving to be better no matter what your profession. .
However, his event was more than just a workout. Seeing everyone working together and cheering each other on built comradery among everyone in attendance. Not just cops or cops and firemen, but everyone including people from the local communities and as far away as Boston, Maryland and Virginia. This was more than a workout. It was a step in the right direction. .
I’ve had the idea for this training program for a while. I reached out to @theptboss
To help me put it together because that’s what he does. This particular event was free and open to everyone. We had about 100 people attend. I personally covered the costs for all permits, the equipitment was donated by @24hourfitness
food prepared by @nutrichefnyc
and we had music by @djanthonyl
This was something I was passionate about getting started. Thank you to everyone that made it possible and thank you to @strategoi_media
for this video. There will be one more video coming out shortly. .
I’m throwing some ideas around for future events/workouts so stay tuned! .
