I’ve spent a great deal of my life feeling like I was not enough...not pretty enough, not skinny enough, not popular enough, not successful enough, not spontaneous enough, not quiet enough, not “normal” enough, not wanted enough. NOT ENOUGH. When we tell ourselves we are not enough, we believe it and then in whatever category we feel we are lacking, we shrink into ourselves. We become insecure, removed and we dim our internal light. . . . Not being enough to me is all about 1) the comparison game 2) not loving who we are. We see others being what we believe to be “enough” and we say “well I’m not like that so I must not be enough”. And when we don’t know who we really are inside or love who we are, it is hard to feel fulfilled inside. The reality is we are enough exactly as we are if we just believe in ourselves. What story are you telling yourself that you are not “enough” of today? . . . Positive manifestations are powerful! This is something I do all the time in my own life and with my clients. Life is full on it is, it's stressfull, it's time to anchor all that, bring you back some energy, bring you back to your human. . 1. Let out those emotions, give yourself a pat on the back, a hug, speak to yourself like your best mate, like a mother. Anytime you can hear yourself putting yourself down reply ' listen it's tough that's enough, I need acceptance and compasion, I can give myself that'. . 2. What could you do to be there for yourself today? Some soup ( a hug in a mug) more water, a nice meal, an early night in bed with a book, watch something that makes you laugh, watch something that makes you cry if you need it. . 3. You could try a guided meditation, you van find loads on YouTube, make 30 minutes of your day about calm, healing, quite, breathing. . 4. When you have had some time, with some healthy you time, calm time, looked after your needs, emotions and heart, you wouod havec recharged your mind and body, then you can work it all out. You'll be ready too. . 5. Bring those thoughts on to the good stuff, remember the things you are grateful for, the good memories, the things you love to do, looking forward to, that make you laugh, bring you joy. Put things around you that remind you of this. . 🌱You must stop to honour your human needs, try not to put yourself down for being human. You are human, your needs are important, and you are allowed to say that.
