Another bomb ass recipe coming your way folks! Homemade chipotle just in time for taco Tuesday. Like but forreal, this recipe right here is legit. It’s soooo good and very simple. I made mine into a salad but you can make a burrito bowl or just go for the full burrito. Maybe even get some tortilla chips to go with it (lol jk not really because chips are delicious) Go check it out on my IGTV!
Meal prep Monday in full effect. I normally do this over the weekend but I was lazy yesterday sooo I made up for it today! It’s always a good idea to have an assortment of roasted veggies ready to go in the fridge for the week since it’s really easy (and also really cheap). You can have them for breakfast topped with some eggs or with another type of protein for lunch or dinner!

Absolutely did NOT want to work out today and sat on my phone for about 30 minutes going through why I should just do this another day..but then I remembered @fitgurlmel caption from her post yesterday that basically said when you’re feeling lazy, that’s when you have to push more 💪🏾 so I got it done and apparently also learned how to levitate at the same time so I’d say today was a productive day 😅

Happy Friday! I had some overnight oats this morning since I didn’t want to be bothered with actually cooking my breakfast. Soaking your oats the night before you plan to eat them can also aid in digesting them. I had some oats mixed with water and Greek yogurt topped with some mixed berry chia compote and a little almond butter 😋 Let me know if you want the recipe and I’ll post it for ya!
Throwback to yesterday when Kat got kicked out of class and picked me up from work since I had a flat tire I didn’t feel like changing so we worked out at the park instead 😅 Thank you for coming with me and keeping me moving!
Getting back into shape SUCKKSSSSS but it’s gotta get done. I had a rough couple of months earlier this year that knocked me off of my routine something serious. I went from eating well and working out 5-6 days a week to eating crap for every meal and working out only once a week if I could pull myself off the couch. So needless to say, today was ROUGH and it’ll probably stay that way for the next couple of months. . I say all that to tell you not to be afraid of the work that lies ahead of you. When you give in to that fear of pain, you still feel the pain and regret of not reaching your goal and staying stuck where you are. If you’re going to be in pain anyway, you might as well get something good out of it.
I can’t count how many times I’ve gotten distracted by things that don’t matter (Criminal Minds marathons!! Best show to binge watch!) Being distracted from serious things can sometimes benefit you, but if you’re finding yourself too far off your path then it’s time to refocus. You can choose which one to give your energy to and when you’re too busy giving all your attention and energy to one side, there’s none left for the other. Happy Monday y’all ❤️ #mondaymotivation

Craving pasta? Try a plant based one to get more nutrients out of your favorite dishes! Today I had @explorecuisine red lentil pasta. I love it because it’s got more protein and fiber than regular pasta and this particular brand doesn’t have any added fillers or preservatives (which can wreak havoc on your digestive system)
LUNCH TIME! I freaking LOVE salad 🤤 its refreshing, the perfect type of lunch to have on a hot day like today, and it’s a great way to get some good nutrition in my body 💪🏾
