i support zac, but that does not mean that i am behind everything he does.
i personally think that 'the beach bum' looks like a 🚮 movie, therefore I am not spending any money on watching it.
Supporting a celebrity does not mean obsessing over everything they do and praising every tiny shit they show. I think that the most honest support is when you can literally speak out your mind about something. Just because Zac acts in a movie I don't HAVE to like it. The plot could be rubbish, even when Zac is a good actor in it. But it is not just about the work. When Zac showed up with dreads, I didn't like it. I was not spreading my dislike in his comments, but I just did not think it looks good. If I would be his friend, I'd tell him honestly what I think about the things he does. But I am [sadly] not friends with him, I am just a fan. But fans are what make a person famous, at least to 50%. And I think that even as fan we have the right to speak out negatively about things our idol does. It doesn't lower the support or opinion of the person. It is simply an honest, good act as long as we do it kindly. being a fan does not mean praise everything and like everything the idol does/says, let's just put that out there.
