▫️ Carbs vor dem Schlafengehen? ▪️ Fast kein anderes Thema wurde schon so oft kritisiert wie die Einnahme von Kohlenhydraten kurz vor dem nächtlichen Bettgang. ▫️ Persönlich ohne jetzt groß auf die Science-Schiene zu rutschen, handhabe ich es für mich mehrheitlich so, dass meine letzte Mahlzeit lediglich aus Eiweiß und einer Fettquelle, für die etwas verzögerte Absorbationszeit und längere Magenverweildauer ausgelegt ist, um der nächtliche „Fastenphase“etwas entgegenzuwirken und so einen möglichst langen Aminopool aufrechterhalten kann.. ▪️ Weiter hat es für mich den Vorteil, schneller und besser einzuschlafen, zumindest verspür ich das so. ▫️ Dies könnte durchaus darauf zurückzuführen sein, dass der Insulinspike zwar genauso präsent, jedoch weniger schnell in die Blutbahn abgegeben bzw. abgeschossen wird und dadurch der HGH-Puls nicht abgedämpft wird. ▪️ Was aber immer gilt, in einer Diät bin ich ein absoluter Befürworter, da definitiv seine Carbs einzusparen.! ▫️ Einen etwas andere Betrachtungsweise liegt dann vor, wenn meine letzte Mahlzeit unmittelbar nach meiner Trainingseinheit zu liegen kommt. ▪️ Da sind die Kohlenhydrate eindeutig dein bester Freund und Supporter, deine geleerten Speicher schnellstmöglich wieder aufzufüllen. ▫️ Wie sieht deine Meal Planung diesbezüglich aus? ▪️ Wünsche dir einen angenehmen Donnerstag. Alright, I’m going to be completely honest (I know 🙄🙄 woof to sharing my feels on IG) but I’ve been in a FUNK . Habits. Let’s talk about them. Consistency. Let’s talk about that too. Have I completed all of my programmed lifts? Absolutely. I love training, seriously...I l-o-v-e it. Have I stayed consistent with my nutrition and nurtured healthy habits like journaling, meditation, reading, etc to keep me feeling my best? Ehhh, no . I have these good intentions of what I want to accomplish and how to approach each day and then a temptation comes up, or I’m tired, I’m lazy, I lack will-power. Like clockwork, I throw my habits to the side & my consistency flies straight out the window. 1 step forward, 2 steps back, ya know? Motivation only gets you so far . Convincing myself of my good intentions provides temporary results. I need to get crystal-fucking-clear as to what I want to accomplish & determine my non-negotiables (and actually make them non-negotiable, not something I do when I feel good or it’s convenient). It’s a process. And it requires mental strength AND consistency every 👏🏻single👏🏻day. And let’s be real, that’s hard . But, I want that. So I gotta do the hard stuff. And who knows, maybe on the other side of this FuNk is a bulletproof mind, a solid sense of self and spirit, a body that I feel confident af in, positive vibes, PR’s (you get the point). It’s doable.
