Update on Sissy and Myself with our endocrinology follow ups every 3 months... Taylee’s labs were absolutely Perfect!!! Her Hemoglobin A1c was 5.1%, and her Basic Metabolic was completely normal with fasting glucose at 84. 🙌💜 continues to be medication free and absolutely Love hearing ... ‘keep doing what you are doing!’ Instead of ... ‘diet, exercise and medication.’ It’s such a relief and Blessing I Never thought I’d ever hear! Myself I continue to be 45% insulin requirements and cholesterol medication free! Cholesterol lab levels have never been better in my life. Cinnamon blueberry baby food. I added a tad of cinnamon to take away from the tart. For a creamier texture for younger babies adding sweet potato or beets would be a good option so they can swallow better. This has the skin, so if they can't swallow good yet they may gag on little pieces. This can also be used as a puree for desserts. Most annoying expression to date “I like food too much “ newsflash so does everyone ! And eating healthier does not mean eating less ! In fact you can eat a hell of a lot more when you are eating the right foods ! And no it’s not just about how you look because smaller people can be just as unhealthy on the inside . Yes it’s hard to say no to the chocolate and cake other people are eating around you to begin with , Yes it’s harder to cook dinner after a busy day rather than buy it but no it’s not impossible . People seem to think eating healthy has to be boring and repetitive but it couldn’t be further from the truth, the more you turn down those foods that are adding to your health problems the better you are going to feel and you will eventually realise you aren’t missing out on anything except feeling like shit afterward . Either stop complaining and stay unhealthy as it’s no ones business but your own how you choose to live or actually take the initiative to do something about it but don’t say you can’t because that is just a cop out ! If you really want to change you can there is so much help available you just have to want to and be prepared to be a little uncomfortable for a short period of time which I think is a lot more appealing than living your whole life uncomfortable due to poor diet choices .
