FINALLY I can practice my beloved headstand again 🎉which I had to skip as soon as my baby belly got too big.
This posture I’ve found already, others I haven’t yet... finding my way back into my practice as it used to be is a journey to tell you the least 😅 especially finding my abs again 🙉 but I keep practicing every day, humbly and with faith. Focusing on the inner journey. The poses will come and go as we walk through life anyway, what will stay is what we learn from it. .
As much as I miss hiking, I will fight to hike again!! #healingthroughyoga

As you all know, I’ve been living my best hippie life. The change has been slow, it’s change nonetheless! I’ve swapped out many items I usually use in favor of healthier alternatives that actually work better for me anyway.
While I’ve been using vinegar as an all purpose cleaner, I find using essential oils to be a bit bothersome. Oil isn’t cheap, and I’d rather use them in my diffuser anyway.
Cue in this discovery! It’s a citrus infused vinegar cleaner! And yes, it’s super simple. The downside is that it takes a few days to a week to create.
All you need is a container (glass jar is preferred and easiest) add white vinegar but leave room at the top and add in orange peel, or even lemon peel! You can keep adding your peels to the jar to make it even better!
I suggest leaving it for at least 3 days, but it works best if left for a week.

It’s too early. Excuse. I’m tired. Excuse. I’m sore. Excuse. The stories we tell ourselves for why we can’t do things are endless. That is fear. That is ego. Ego wants to be comfortable. Ego wants pleasure. Comfort doesn’t equal growth. You want to feel better? Show up and do the work. Wake up 2 hrs earlier and practice. Eat better. Go to bed early. Be kind to yourself and others. In order to be happy we simply have to stop making ourselves unhappy. Simple. But it takes work and discipline and consistency. Karma is unlearned lessons. It is all appropriate - neither good nor bad. And we don’t get out of karma by doing it badly. We will continue to face it until we conquer that fear, that unlearned lesson.
This morning I retreated to old ways of thinking. I told myself I couldn’t make it to 630am practice. I had a migraine, I was tired and I needed rest. No. I needed to show up for myself and do the work. I drove the 35 mins and did the work. That vritti of being the victim when it comes to a migraine got a little weaker today. Thank you @shannayoga
