I have my work cut out for me with this pose! More core and upper body days will get this really pretty ♥️
Most of my daily practice looks like the picture above: simple 👌🏻
Trying out some new yogi ab work outs ft. Yoga wheel. Full transparency I did 6 all together but fell in the first video so here’s 3 and hopefully in a week I can do 10 with out falling 💪🏻💪🏻
Is people really interested in me typing more about my surroundings and happenings than reading a good self thought?... what do y’all think? What interests you more? 🤔 💭
Start everyday with a grateful heart. Today I'm feeling grateful for LOVE ❤️ Love is freedom. The freedom to express the most joyous part of Who You Are. The part that knows that you are ONE with everything and everyone 〰

What are you grateful for ? #gratefulheart #yogawithgigi
Hope is being able to see that there is
light despite all of the darkness 🕯👀

VRIKSASANA: tree pose 🌲
Take some time to find your balance in the midst of chaos. Trees sway in the wind - embrace the wobble!
Not a typical reverse warrior 🤷🏼♀️ .
Well here’s a little confession:
I do get nervous ! 😬 yoga might not be my thang and especially yoga on the WALL!!! but if I let those feelings get the best of me, it will stop me from doing something I’d normally find fun 🙈
One thing that yoga wall at @the1derland
taught me is that so much of my ‘fear’ is in my head. Taking a few deep breaths helps me feel more calm, more focused and let me experience something new and exciting that I’d otherwise walk away from 💕✨
What’s something that scares you? Would you be willing to face that fear if you knew it would stop holding you back? .

New to chatturangas? At Rise Yoga HB we love to modify!
We want to practice this series of postures in a safe and effective way so that you can continue to practice for the long haul.
Modify by keeping your knees down so you can still build strength and gain the benefits of the push-up but with less weight to support. .
This makes it easier to do the pose correctly and to move with strength instead of momentum. 😉
Let us know in the comments below if you plan on trying it out this way!
Ehyo, this is just me in my bike helmet. I was feeling goofy this morning so I decided to strike I pose before I rode to work 😝🏍
is the author of From Anxiety To Love: A Radical New Approach for Letting Go of Fear and Finding Lasting Peace. Her journey with anxiety began at age two when she was diagnosed with separation anxiety. Her anxieties heightened in college and she found herself feeling like she was living an abnormal life.
This conversation with Corinne reminded me of the importance of our internal focus. If we only observe our fearful thoughts, we live in a constant state of fear. What would happen if we focused on the higher power thoughts? I immediately found that my higher power thoughts were happy to speak up and affirm to me that I was doing a great job and had nothing to fear.
In this episode, Corinne and I talk about our experiences with anxiety attacks, how to calm yourself down when you are in the thick of one and why we need to be aware of the thought systems controlling our minds.
What I Learned:
1️⃣The necessity of a respite from anxiety and fear in order to be able to have full control and awareness when it happens
2️⃣Learning about the fearful thought system and how it does not control your life, as long as you are aware it is there
3️⃣The importance of defining your fears and putting them on paper to gain your power back
••••••••• 🔥 Finding a break from anxiety is necessary to help you be able to shift away from fearful living 🔥 Trusting that after you ask for a miracle it will happen can shift your perception of your current situation 🔥 Journaling is a tool that can help you go through difficult times and gain clarity on the situation

I feel like the last few weeks has been so busy, with my two best friends getting married in Greece and then my twin getting married last weekend - it's been very full on! I was really worried that my practice would end up taking a back seat, but I have actually surprised myself with how often I ended up stepping on my mat. Usually I am the sort of person that really needs a routine, I like to have everything pre-planned, so when my schedule becomes hectic or unpredictable because I'm in a new place I struggle to keep up my exercise or my normal diet, literally everything goes out of the window 🙈🙊but in the last few weeks I've been stepping on my mat simply because I've been craving it rather than because it's on my list of things to do.
Play time 😂😂 we attempted to replicate something I saw on @talia_sutra
's Instagram - it's fair to say our ones is not quite like hers 🙈😂 but we had so much fun trying to figure out how to do this - couple problem solving activity! By the way if you are wondering who Talia Sutra is she's my favourite teacher ever, I absolutely love her lessons on Alo Moves, if you haven't tried them yet I highly recommend 💕
I've been looking into Yoga Teacher Training this week, after a lot of deliberating I have found the course that I want to do 🙊so excited! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Standing backbend - I love doing those but only after a good warm up! Sorry for cropping my arms out of the frame at the beginning but I couldn't make the video fit
Real time forearm stand, a little wobbly, but luckily the couch was right there to catch me 🤣
Heart openers are something I include in my practice all the time. They are difficult and the progress is slow but for me they feel amazing. Open heart is a happy heart right 🙃😉(check out my stories for a little progress pic)... I've also been getting into a habit of always photographing my both sides and never neglecting my less flexible side. It's so easy to just photograph the more flexible side of your body for obvious reasons, it feels easier and it looks better/more impressive, but the more you photograph only your good side the more you are physically neglecting your other side, which means it will never be able catch up 🤦🏼♀️my advice is always always do the same photograph for both, and always do the same pose on each side equally - or better yet give your less flexible side a bit more attention 💁🏼sometimes what we want to do the least is what we should do the most 😜
