New students usually interested in one pose which is headstand(sirsasana) 🤸🏻♂️
When I met yoga to do this pose was impossible for me but as time grew on I was able to do it with supported wall. After every trial and fail I was grumbling “My abdominal muscles are not strong enough, legs are too long I can’t extend, my torso can not straight at the begining of pose bla bla...
I’ve just recognized that bandha is the answer. I’d say it is so important for yoga poses. After finding the uddhiyana bandha everything has changed my yoga also has changed. Now during all poses I don’t get tired, I can control my breath. I can use core muscles.
2019 gave me some gifts one of them is sirsasana. 💙
I’ve learned that if you have a goal you should try again again and again...

After having Savannah, I have had no choice but to slow things down; to be mindful of my training, focus on my recovery and nourishing both my body and soul.
It’s bizarre. •
I’ve always listened to my body through physical soreness, aches or pains and tiredness after training + how I feel after I’ve eaten.
Now I’ve started listening to what my soul + my body NEEDS rather than what my mind tells me I WANT across more than my physical health.
And the shift has been unreal. •
Slowing down sometimes makes the process quicker, ironically enough ✨
And so I’m applying this to my health, my business and my life. This will be a very different year compared to the last few, and I’m excited!
(Oh and did I tell you that I’m now, unofficially, a yogi 😂🤷🏼♀️)

The wolves howl longer and louder in January to attract a mate, and the Wolf Full Moon has just dropped below the horizon. Parts of me howl from within, trying to attract what they crave. The ground shakes, the foundations prove to be unsustainable. Once again, I topple off another false pedestal of my own making. It still hurts when I hit the ground but down here I can see what really matters. I get humble. I grow. Feet on the ground Ben. Keep going.
