I was dying and am definitely feeling it today! To me those are the best workouts!! Also make sure you’re not straining your neck.. that means the weight is too heavy and you’ll run the risk of injuring yourself (I’ve been there and it’s not fun)

This was my favorite exercise of the entire workout!! Don’t forget to brace your core the entire time!
Banded Static Reverse Lunges
3 x 10/ leg
I’ve been seeing on IG these banded lunges so I gave it a try and holy guacamole I felt it in my quads automatically, highly suggest it!!!!

If you can do more go for it but me not so much but we are all a work in progress so if you want to challenge yourself always be open and ready to try new things! You never know what great achievements you will see in yourself!

Lastly, my phone died so I couldn’t film my last exercise but we all know and love the HIP THRUSTS as long as we aren’t exchanging any eye contact with anyone😆

Proud Trainer moment 😭 Michelle decided to bring her A game today. Not only did she hit a rep PR 4x6 @ 115 today on deadlifts but her positioning and execution was spotless. Michelle has put in a TON of work on her own time with mobility that we have worked out and it is showing and makes me so proud 😭
So excited to see what the future holds for this girls lifts 💪🏼
W7D2 - Bench moved pretty smooth today despite a long work day and like no food 💀 first few sets I wasn’t happy with, control felt weak. This one felt a bit better, so naturally I will post this one 😇

If you haven’t yet, go check out my story I posted yesterday. A little lengthy, but worth the watch. So many times, different locations- especially on social media, people are so negative towards others! I think it’s tome everyone starts to being each other up, and help each other. Especially when it comes to living a healthier lifestyle! Nobody really helped, all the workouts I’ve tried, failed, and have accomplished have been me. Sweat, dirt, a few years... have been me. I’ve previously stated that I KNOW my purpose in life is to help others, and I’m gonna do just that.

Hopefully this California sun will help with my farmers tan 😂. I’ve been making excuses not posting progress pictures because I’ve always had low self esteem when it came to my body. I either think I’m the same skinny kid from high school, or the chubby transfer student at my first year of messiah dealing with depression. But since then I am at a comfortable 220, turning fat into new muscles and hitting new prs and confidence in myself. So no matter if you have a six pack of abs or a six pack of miller light, if your healthy, loving who you are physically and mentally that is what counts. For me vacation will be hard not slacking on my workouts and maintaining where I’m at, but once I am back I am hoping to loose a few pounds in my midsection and keep improving my upper body.
