SORROW by Pink Floyd — Two things I dig... Dystopian tales and Pink Floyd music, whether it be Roger Waters or David Gilmour at the helm. Sorrow combines both on a late night when I’m writing about some not-so-pleasant occurrences.
LYRICS - “The sweet smell of the great sorrow lies over the land, plumes of smoke rose and merge into the leaden sky, a man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers, but awakes to a morning with no reason for waking; he’s haunted by a memory of a lost paradise, in his youth or a dream, he can’t be precise, he’s chained to a world that’s departed, it’s not enough, it’s not enough...”
Hmmm.. come to think of it, maybe this is just me headed to work in the morning?
