There would be times when he would send you a good morning message, send you pictures, know everything about you, reply to you first, put you to sleep. Just because he doesn’t anymore, doesn’t mean the love is gone. Don’t doubt his love. But maybe he has just forgotten. Forgotten how special you are. Forgotten how priceless the relationship is. Forgotten what makes you happy.
But don’t you forget. You plan an amazing anniversary surprise dinner for him even though he doesn’t remember. You spare two hours to look for vacancies for him even though he doesn’t bother to look at. You share meaningful posts with him even though he doesn’t respond to them. You hope and wish that one day he will prioritise you. That he will stop taking you for granted. That he will remember everything again.
And I know. I know it’s so damn heat breaking because all you want is for him to appreciate you and understand that all you need is respect and time and effort. You don’t do it to calculate love or show off your love or make him feel guilty or make him want to reciprocate. You do it because you want to see him happy. Genuinely happy. Because you want to help him achieve his dreams. You want to be the reason for his happiness. But you can’t teach him your worth. You just can’t.
But darling, that doesn’t mean you’re not enough. Your worth isn’t measured by how much he misses you. How many essays he writes for you. How many gifts he sends you.
You are already enough.
You are perfect. You are worth it. He will see it. Surely. Soon. Maybe. Hopefully.
But when you start to see it, life will be brighter. Love will be better. Your burdens will be lighter. Quit fighting yourself and pointing out flaws. Stop being a fighter and start being a lover. Love your flaws. Love your imperfections. Love your bad hair days. Love your attitude. Love your curves.
Just forever love yourself darling. Because he will forget again.
A clear sky
In the middle of a desert
Sitting at a fire
With all our friends
Singing our favourite songs
Crazy conversations going on
Laughing with joy
As all are together after many years
Happy and cheerful
Talking about life
then missing the good times
that we had in the past
the beautiful memories
And just the flashback of those moments
Fills our eyes with tears
after some seconds of silence
We all begin smiling with wet eyes
Hugging each other
Promising that we will always be friends
No matter what happens in our life
No matter where we live
We will always stay in contact with each other
Leaving all those emotions behind
We again start partying
Then celebrating that night like
the last night of our life...
I don't think
we all know
Our heart is made up of pieces
And those pieces has
names of our friends written on them
We can never forget our friends
Cause if we look inside
they are always in our heart... ❤️
