The days are presently filled with naps, documentaries and trips to Costco to remember what the outside world looks like. I’m learning his cues and how to respond. I’ve purposely not watched Tidying Up or applied for my bachelors program because I’m trying to soak up these slow days ♥️

This is how I balance my life. Parenting four girls, taking care of life at home, working full-time and being a student. We had a family get together tonight and had SUCH a great time. I wanted to come home and lay down and watch a movie with my little ladies... BUST. I had homework. I hate that I have to do homework when we’re all home together on weekends, but it allows me to be available and focused and super present during the school/work week for my girls.
.
I’m balancing. I’m also doing a little whining and carrying on about said balancing, BUT IM DOING IT, OKAY?! Also, I have like 13 loads of laundry to wash, dry, fold, put away, my floors need mopped and my dog needs a groom—so we can’t win em all. 😉🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️😘😏

The truth is, I sometimes dread the weekends. Some may not understand, but when you are parents of a three year old it means that you have to tackle the household chores that have piled up throughout the week, (possibly even some work) as well as entertain our wildly active toddler and simultaneously ensure that your 3 month old baby gets all of her naps and feds in. Getting out the door for morning activity can sometimes morph into an afternoon activity which in some cases (like today) end up as an evening activity! But we finally got there, 6pm, to go ice skating for the first time! The happy giggles, rainbow coloured lights, Fleetwood Mac playing in the background and a heart warming joy that this (
#Whistler ) is where we have decided to raise our children. Saturday nights may look a little different these days, but it’s moments like this make it

Sometimes I wonder who is more blessed... me, that has such a handsome husband to love so endlessly and deeply- or him, who is loved so endlessly and deeply by me. God sure knows what he’s doing and I am blessed by him for sticking to his plan.

One of the best things about weekends is that we could just lazed around, hangout with our crazy friends, or just drive around for some culinary adventure. When the topic of Bubble Milk Tea comes around, we have some exciting brands around, talk about choices, bubble fans are never short of. And if you don’t know yet, Moojicha never shirks from using the best ingredients, yes it’s crazy but it’s worth it because our mission is to impress and please our fans. No compromising on that department, and non negotiable. Let’s make this day an exploration day, try your smoky black KaoNeNe, brewed and burnt upon order, only at Moojicha!

For years I have had a good routine of waking up in the morning at 4:45 and working out. The last couple months I have been horrible and hardly worked out at all. I completed the 80 day obsession twice last year and had love it.
Yesterday was leg day and today I am feeling EVERY part of my legs!! I'm barely moving today, but so excited to see my results!! Bring it on

Carrying these two little angels through 37 weeks of pregnancy took a toll on my body.
.
.
Cohen was born weighing 8 lbs and Conrad was born weighing 6.5 lbs. I had a fused placenta weighing about 7-8 lbs (the size of a baby on its own). Thankfully, I was never on bed rest and had an overall healthy and great pregnancy growing these two. We’ll be forever grateful for that!
.
.
When I found out I was pregnant with twins I specifically remember saying, ‘Welp, there goes my body.’ And Tim’s response was, ‘Just use cocoa butter... you’ll be fine.’ 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 We both still laugh about that conversation as we’ve now witnessed what my body has gone through.
.
.
I delivered the twins via csection which was way more intense than I imagined. 5 months later I had surgery to correct my severe diastasis recti and what we thought was a hernia. 9 months after my initial surgery, I’m writing this while recovering from an unexpected revision that needed to be made due to tissue that is toonelastic from being stretched so far during my pregnancies. My body has been through SO much from carrying the twins and recovering from three surgeries in the past 14 months.
.
.
There is SO much more that has gone on in between it all... research, 2nd and 3rd opinions. It has emotionally and physically taken a toll and through it all we’ve had to lean on so many people for support. It’s a very vulnerable and personal journey and no one will truly understand all that’s gone into this like Tim and I. I wasn’t even sure I’d share this part of my journey here. But I feel the tug in my heart to be open, honest, and real and share all the good and the bad. We have been so blessed along the way and I know by sharing more about this I can help other mama’s in similar situations. I’m so happy to be recovering well from my most recent surgery and can’t wait to officially have this behind us.... crocodile tears were streaming down my face when I came out of anesthesia.
.
.
I plan to share more in detail about this chapter once I’m fully healed. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out. 💜
