Calories vs Calories
Life is nothing if all we do is count calories. Whatever the objective whether fat loss, muscle gain or endurance nutrition is key.
It can at times get a little too boring counting calories. So let's have some fun with counting calories by seeing what of the same food have the most or least calories.
Today's Calories vs Calories: Breakfast
This edition will be a look at Breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day, and we all can get busy and in a rush. But, it is important to have a balanced diet. -
So, lets look at what is the best breakfast to have.
Well, this is when you have the time and care to look after you're breakfast. This is based on just 75g of Quaker Oats, and you could always add fruit and peanut butter to make it better. But, lets focus on the macros porridge has 6g of fat, 51g of carbs and 9g of protein and with 281 calories. -
2️⃣ Sausage & Egg McMuffin
The most easy and obvious quick breakfast to get on the go. And not the best and lets see why, with 24g of fat, 27g of carbs and 26g of protein and with 430 calories. -
Have to say with the McMuffin you get higher protein and less carbs and obviously higher fat and calories. You can increase your proteins in porridge by using peanut butter powder or nuts and fruits.

Last week I felt some popping & clicking with some of the moves from shoulder day so luckily we have Personal Trainers in our amazeballs online Fit Fam group as I was doing the modifications but something was still not right. So now it is ✋ Thank you @sandi.knox.fit
for your tips & by reducing my weights & focusing 💯 % on form the clicking & popping was gone 🙌💪😀 Eventhough our Lifestyle Group is online, we can still help each other no matter where we live, we video or type our questions & if needed we demonstrate what we are doing & then either the coaches or trainers can pop in & help correct your form so you continue to move forward on your journey safely 😊

While it’s 💯 definitely easier to lose weight eating at home and making your own meals (simply because you are in charge and know what’s exactly in your meals) it IS possible to lose weight eating out.
I can count the amount of home cooked meals I’ve had this summer on 1 hand and have not gained an ounce.
What has helped me? 🚫
Staying in control. Just because I go out out to eat doesn’t mean I eat differently than I would at home. Is it harder, yes, do but definitely not impossible. 🚫 Budgeting my other meals around it. Keeping some meals lower calories and saving up for that glass of wine or ice cream or a more caloric dinner. so I can indulge a little if I want. 🚫 Continuing to lift heavy and move. So important! .
Eating out should definitely be enjoyable, but not an excuse to deter from your goals. Don’t aim for perfection, but instead aim for progress each day! The first thing you MUST start with is the mindset to know that you CAN do it! And YES! You CAN! 👊🏼
