It took me a really long time to realize this!🤦🏻‍♀️ After having my daughter, I felt so guilty to leave her for any reason at all!😫 I thought I was a horrible mother for wanting to take an hour a day to workout or not spend that time with her. But I realized, taking care of myself meant taking better care of her as well.💕Taking that time for myself, meant appreciating the other 23 hours a day with her that much more. 🚨V-BAR PUSHDOWN . 👎WRONG VS 👍RIGHT . 1️⃣Standing upright with the torso straight and a very small inclination forward, bring the upper arms close to your body and perpendicular to the floor. The forearms should be pointing up towards the pulley as they hold the bar. The thumbs should be higher than the small finger. This is your starting position. . 2️⃣Using the triceps, bring the bar down until it touches the front of your thighs and the arms are fully extended perpendicular to the floor. The upper arms should always remain stationary next to your torso and only the forearms should move. Exhale as you perform this movement. . 3️⃣After a second hold at the contracted position, bring the V-Bar slowly up to the starting point. Breathe in as you perform this step. . @ryan_spiteri

Why I train full body??? Here's the most simplistic way to view my training methodology: If you were working on a car, and only kept maintenance on one part and neglected the rest, eventually the system will stop functioning properly because every single time you drive every single part to the car is being used. One part can’t function without the other, or else the system doesn’t work as a whole. Our bodies are the exact same. Every time you move EVERYTHING is being used. We are a giant kinetic chain. I’ve been testing out a different workout style the past two days, more circuit focused. One Monday it was way different than what I usually do-5 exercises back to back in a circuit. The whole circuit completed 5x. I missed doing heavy squats but it was challenging so I think I’m going to start incorporating that workout style in my normal routine. Credit: @linnlowes 🍑 GLUTE or quads? I’ve always wondered why this machine goes as a ”glute machine” as it’s set up for 70%-ish quad involvement? BUT lemmmmeee tell you guys, this little tweak of starting position makes ALL the difference! Salute Glute! * The position you’re supposed to be in according to the description of the machine; 1️⃣ At the very end I always get a curve in my back no matter how much i stick my stomach to the pad. And if I don’t go all the way to the very end I don’t get much hip joint movement.  2️⃣ I get most of my movement in my knee joint = quads doing most of the job. * The position I prefer; 3️⃣ Rest your shoulder on the pad and secure the placement by holding on to the pad or the handles. Switch shoulder when you’re switching legs.  4️⃣ Toes pointing out and in the exact same direction as your knee. * This little change makes; 5️⃣ Getting a greater movement in my hip joint = more glute involvement. 6️⃣ Keeping my back neutral the whole movement. 7️⃣ As you can see here, knee and hip joint getting equally involved. 🥂 Cheers guys! This happen to be one of my favorite kickbacks now days.
