Good Morning. Nur ein schneller Post (Ich kann es einfach nicht lassen, mein Frühstück zu fotografieren, es schreit fast immer danach 😂). Jetzt aber nur ein schnelles Pic mit dem Handy, weil: Hunger! Also ich. Nach dem Training 💁🏻‍♀️. Es gibt mal wieder #zoats (für die, die es nicht kennen: Haferflocken mit Wasser und geraspelten Zucchini aufgekocht. Am Ende werden bei mir noch 100g Magerquark darunter gemischt. Keine Sorge, man schmeckt die Zucchini überhaupt nicht, man braucht aber weniger Haferflocken 💁🏻‍♀️) mit einer kleinen Feige, 1/3 Banane, ein paar Beeren und Mandeln, sowie über den Feigen 1 TL Mandelmus (gute Fette) und zur Deko auf der Banane ein paar Kakaonibs. Geht recht schnell, schmeckt super und macht satt. Beste Kameraperspektive, wie immer👍😎 Der letzte Satz Kniebeugen und einfach mal die 56kg geknackt (ja, für einige nicht viel, für mich aber schon) #proud Und vor allem bei richtig guter Stabilität. Seitdem ich das Buch "Werde ein geschmeidiger Leopard" gelesen habe, konnte ich unfassbar viel verbessern in meiner Form beim Beugen. Füße in den Boden schrauben, Lat aktivieren (Cue: Stange durchbrechen) und das korrekte Herausheben der Stange aus dem Rack, womit irgendwie steht und fällt, ob du eine gute Kniebeuge hinkriegen wirst. Durch die Stabilität ist auch die Tiefe gut, bin sehr glücklich 😊 Auch die Youtube Videos von @yuribeuga helfen mir derzeit enorm viel weiter bei der Technik. Checkt das unbedingt mal aus. Und wieder mal gemerkt: Man lernt immer wieder dazu, das Ende der Kraft ist noch lange nicht erreicht (wohl mein häufigster Gedanke🙄🤦). ADD 20LBS TO YOUR BENCH PRESS by @workout__important__ Want to add 20lbs to your bench press? You need to start using Daily Undulating Periodization (DUP). Visit the link in my bio to get your DUP Method workout and start maxing out your bench in no time. - "To bench a lot, you must bench a lot." - If you want to increase your bench press but you're only bench pressing 1x per week, then you're not doing everything in your power to increase your bench. - It's your goal. Do EVERYTHING in your power to increase that bench press. This means training the bench press 3x per week. Each day of the week uses a different set and rep scheme in order to maximize gains (Daily Undulating Periodization or DUP). - You'll have 3 different days: - Power Day. 6 sets of 3 reps with 70% 1RM. Pause for 3 seconds on your chest and explode up. - Strength Day. 5 sets of 5 reps with 80% your 1RM. Grind these bad boys out. Take lots of rest. - Hypertrophy Day. 4 sets of 8 reps with 70% 1RM. A bigger muscle is a stronger muscle, so we're going to build some size to help build the bench press strength. - You can set this up on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday routine and have some incredible bench press gains. TRUST THE PROCESS 🚨 Here’s the deal... For me, feeling a little “fluffy” has always been a trigger for me to restrict food! I suffered for many many years with food issues, particularly restricting! This part of my life has long since been recovered but certainly prepping for a show has its ups and downs! So here’s the truth for me and my experience! Prepping for a show is no joke! It takes more time than you think. It’s not just the workouts in the gym!! It’s having to take a look at myself and not compare myself to anyone else - ONLY my own progress!! This is hard and we are all guilty of looking on social media to see who’s gonna be on stage with you! Don’t do it! Aim to beat your own best! It’s the “no, thank you” on desserts, “no thanks” to going for a drink (that one’s easy for me, I don’t drink lol) It’s being the annoying friend at dinner modifying your salad and no oil on fish or chicken! It’s the inside thoughts... Well if I just move this meal here or don’t take that cheat meal maybe I’ll get leaner faster!! NO, WRONG! Follow your diet, trust your coach and trust the process! It’s the hours spent prepping your food for the week! It’s posing practice after workouts. It’s managing all of it! Not to mention, kids schedules, work and everything in between! What’s NOT doable during a show prep is NOT TRUSTING the process or your coach! You hire a coach for a reason, so you don’t have to think lol (cause trust me, by the end you’re not gonna want to think lol) If your coach says we are working on gains and gives you a shit ton of food and minimal cardio! DO NOT go doing extra cardio! TRUST THE PROCESS If you’re starting to cut but you’re craving those cookies and think you can go just burn them off doing an hour of extra cardio... that’s not how this works!!! If your coach tells you that you need to work harder at certain areas it’s NOT PERSONAL this is what you have hired them to do! Look at my body and critique it... that’s the WHOLE point!!! I’m beyond grateful for this journey and prep on the way to #wbffAtlanticCity A HUGE thank you to my coaches... @n8fitness & @cdcbody And to @paul_dillett & @allisondillett For putting on the best shows!
