Haven’t posted anything fit in a while. I haven’t been as motivated to workout. I have been working out but I just haven’t been feeling it. In a lot of my workouts lately I’ve been just been going through the motions and not wanting to workout. I’ve started a new job and thought I’d take some time away from competing to get acclimated and get back on the gravy train when I got used to the job. And now that I pretty much have a handle on how my job works, I just don’t feel like working out, and I’m not sure how to get back that motivation. After a long day at work, I was totally in the mood for comfort food that didn’t require much time or prep👀🙊 THIS is one of my go-to, absolute favorite, quick, easy + filling meals🍝 The fresh tomatoes, olive oil, roasted garlic + chopped basil are just too good for words... you’ll just have to try it for yourself👌🏼 In a skillet, lightly sauté chopped garlic + a generous amount of olive oil for just about a minute. (Don’t let the oil get too hot or the garlic brown.) Add in the tomatoes, stirring frequently, until they soften. Add in the cooked pasta + stir until covered in sauce. Top with parmesan, fresh basil, + sea salt.

100kg x20 beltless mixed grip in 2mins. Had to come up for extra air after 10 reps. This was some intense cardio 😅😂 next goal 25 😏😏
Over this past week or so, I’ve just felt like my nutrition has been a little off. Not that I’ve been eating unhealthy, it’s just that hitting my macros hasn’t been quite on point. I’ve also found myself getting back into my grazing habit, which I need to kick.
However, after I took this pic, I couldn’t help but notice the definition in my arm. I’ve really been trying to put a focus on my training and I think it’s paying off. My workouts have been really good lately plus the weight I’m moving is slowly increasing.
You won’t see muscle definition all the time, but when I do, it definitely helps keep me motivated to keep going and keep pushing towards my goals. My nutrition being slightly off is temporary, but my determination to be the best me possible is here for good.

After not being able to really go to the gym for about 7 months, it feels amazing to finally be back at it! I definitely gained a little fat and I think I lost a little muscle but I’m sooo excited to hit the gym hard again and improve my strength and muscle mass 👊🏼
