How to deal with set backs? I decided I would spend the day potting up plants, getting dirty in the garden and...shopping? Hee hee. Yeah, this really helps for me. One project not working out? Start dreaming about the next one. So glad there is a craft section @sostrenegrene
to help me sooth my woes. 💪🏻😎
Lake Superior Cowl. Quince and Co. Scarves, Etc. 7. It’s been a little over a month since this pattern was published, and this photograph of the cowl captures the sharp angle of the design perfectly! As we have instantly turned from fall to winter in Wisconsin, I feel that the cowl will be a go to piece to help keep you warm this season. I have had some great feedback on the design – lots of praise about how fun knitters feel the pattern is, I believe that addicting was one of the words used! 💙 It’s a great feeling to hear that knitters like my design and super fun to see the different color combinations for that they have chosen for their cowls.
Unsere kuschelige Wollfleece Jacke ohne Kapuze lässt sich mit unseren EtaProof Wetterjacken kombinieren. Und was sich ergibt - tadaaa - ist eine 3in1 Kombination fürs ganze Jahr. ☀️🌬🌧🌨
A vintage style little 👧🏼 bonnet. I made a pattern by combining two different ones from vintage crochet books. It’s sweet, right?
By the way, green is one of my favorite colors (among other colorful colors 😉)

I’ve found a way to keep those winter blues away - start planning for Christmas and surround myself with colour! The first of my new Christmas yarn gifts arrived today - a 2019 Calender that’s perfect for anyone who loves handdyed yarn ( which, I presume , is you? ). It’s full of colourful images of yarn and is designed and printed in the UK too. I think these would make great gifts so I’ve set up an early bird discount code for 25% off, newsletter subscribers will have the code in their inbox now, or sign up using the code in my profile. Phew. That was a lot of information! Everybody with me? 😂
When you are used to knitting mostly fingering weight sweaters, the instant gratification that comes from a pair of worsted weight mittens is simply fantastic.💪These were meant to be for me, but I'm noticing that they happen to be Gryffindor colours, so they may go to my husband and I'll simply make another pair for Isaac and I in our house colours. 🏆 This is my Aries Worsted base, which is 100% superwash merino and feels like MCN. I'm out of stock of it right now but might bring some in for mitten kits. What do you think? Does that interest you? 🤔 I love how these are knitting up; they are so soft and pretty. 😍🧤❄️
