Brocken is the highest peak of Northern Germany.
Hiking with Lisbeth was physically demanding since she runs like crazy 😂 and I’m just an old woman 👵 ————————————————————————
This place during the Cold War was a restricted area occupied by the Warsaw Pact troops.
There were listening devices aimed at West Germany, only a few kilometers away, and they were able to monitor radio transmissions far into the west from the high vantage point of the Brocken.
The convoy route used by the Border Patrol is still there.
Today was a beautiful day ❤️
Mount Isthmus Peak Track - definitely a mustdo when in New Zealand. So worth to hike up 1386m, to reach such a spectacular view over Lake Hawea and Lake Wanaka⛰
Hemos salir a buscarla o dejarnos descansar? Hay gente que dice que tenemos que forzar para que vuelva pero si forzamos se realmente motivación? 🤔
I'm heading to Crows Nest National Park tomorrow then back down to Nightcap National Park on Sunday. A weekend full of hiking is the perfect weekend. 👌
What are you up to this weekend?
Craving mountains 🏔
Need to plan for my next hiking weekend in the U.K.! Last winter we visited Loch Lomond in Scotland, and it was amazing 🤩
Any recommendations for a weekend in March? I thought of flying to Aberdeen and explore further North?
Seva. It is our responsibility to be of service. Given what we know from climate and ecological projections, and what we are already seeing in our forests, oceans and polar ecosystems, it will be the uprising of this generation that makes or breaks the next few thousand years. We are the 'future generation' that decades of scientists, politicians, and environmentalists have been talking about. It is our duty to lead our generation, all that came before, and all those to come after, back into communion with the earth; to learn from our Elders and to further the great consciousness that is revealing itself. It will be this generation who decides not just how we survive, but how we begin to reshape what it means to be human. In many ways, we are more overworked, stressed, and disconnected, from ourselves, from community and Country, than any other generation before. There is a deep yearning of so many of us today to return to the wilderness; to return to the sacred. We are also the generation who have married a deep respect for the 'science' and for sacred ways of knowing and experiencing. We are motivated, heart-filled, educated, and globally connected, in ways that few other generations ever have been; it’s exactly this generation who are perfectly primed to help us all step into a new stage of human evolution; of deep consciousness. 🌏🌲🐾

There are some people in life you can totally be yourself with (curse like a sailor and totally let your guard down without so much as a raised eyebrow 🤸♀️ @pippa_parfait
) and others where you find yourself trying to mould into an acceptable version of yourself...
It's impossible to be on the same wavelength as everyone who comes into our life, so why do many of us try so hard to make ourselves fit? 🙄
By dropping the (exhausting) masks we habitually use to please and impress, we pay homage to our authentic self.🌟
Consider the cost of wearing those masks.... the loss of yourself and your true identity. In this age of 'fake' The world needs to see the real you. ❤
💐🌸🌼👑✨ makes me want to go running in a field of wild flowers barefoot, messy carefree wind blown hair 🌿🌱🌾

🚗 road trip w the most random crew to the south of the border turned out to be pretty dece (read: eventful) ❄
Finding my calm high in the mountains. Our one night adventure on the Kepler track was everything I needed last weekend. No phone signal, no deadlines, no screens. Just me, my love and my happy place, oh and tea✨
Another one from two years ago ☺️ Swipe 👉🏻 to see me being an emotional doofus at 5545m. The hypoxia might have also had something to do with it 🙄
Yesterday was the third day on the trail, and the sun finally came out! We did over 5000 feet of elevation gain and loss (ouch) and finished the day with pizza, beer, and apple fritters. Have I mentioned that Nepal is probably the closest place to heaven on earth? #teamdeluxe
One of the beautiful things about suffering through cycles of grief is after the pain in your chest is gone, your heart is happy, energy flows, and you're better than fine. Stronger for your suffering. More beautiful inside for having recognized all the gifts the one you lost has left you with, forever. Shining brightly, on all you meet, with empathy, compassion, kindness, and love. And you know grief will come back again but then there will be this again, more beauty and less pain, and growth throughout. 💕

The day will be what you make of it,
like the sun,
And burn. ~William C. Hannan
🤙🏼⛰ this view is incredible!! Always a good feeling getting to the top where the views are the best
I am most at ease within the forests and trees. 🌳
