To all those people that say you have to live a boring life and spend most of it in the gym if you want to get in great shape, then my wife @raach89
has proved you all wrong!
- She isn’t a PT. She works in a school, places which are notorious for snacks being in every single cupboard
- I’ve only trained her about 4/5 times in the 2.5 years this transformation is over. Most of her training was done in the classes @no1_fitness.
She’s trained on average about 3 times per week, doesn’t love it sometimes, but still shows up
- We travel almost every month and enjoy the food of every culture that we visit without feeling restricted - We eat out about 3 times every weekend and usually once during the week
- In between all of them, yes, she obviously shows discipline with the meals she eats, most of them being protein and vegetable dense with plenty of fruit and a few other snacks chucked in. Do you really expect to see any change without showing some form of discipline though?
Has she been 100% on her diet and training the whole time? No way. But she has been at about 70% of optimal (whatever optimal is) pretty much week by week. You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to be doing the right things consistently. Also if you think living with me would make it easier, then you’re wrong, if anything it makes it harder. I have days where I consume close to 6,000 calories from junk food and she has to sit there and watch me!
So stop telling yourself that you ‘living your life’ is the reason you aren’t in the shape you want to be in, cos it’s invalid. You just don’t want to change enough
