We just have to share this sweet, heartwarming story on this rainy Sunday. Sometimes, especially with our Internal Medicine department, clients frequent the hospital so much that they become more than just clients... they become a part of our extended family. So is this case with the Apfel’s.
Anya and Tessa Apfel started their journey with Veterinary Specialty Care in 2015. Over the years, little Anya, the beagle lady, has seen neurologist, Dr. Freeman, surgeon, Dr. Bianucci, and, internist, Dr. Johnson as well as different trips to our Emergency department. Anya has been through the ringer you could say. •
Her sister Tessa has also been seen by surgeons, Dr. Bianucci and Dr. Schlicksup, for knee surgeries and Dr. Johnson for her gastrointestinal issues. Both girls are stable now and living their best lives, due to the awesome dedication and love from their Mom and Dad, Janet and Bob. •
Over the last 3 years we have all come to think of the Apfel’s as family. They always come with baked goods, at each visit, and presents to share with the staff during the holidays. They’re now moving away and came by just to say “see you later”. There were tears and hugs, tail wags and doggie kisses all around. We don’t say goodbye, just see you later. •
So see you later Apfel’s. Safe travels, from all of us here at VSC!! 💗🐾 #vetspecialtycare #veterinaryspecialtycaresc #veterinaryspecialists #veterinarymedicine #veterinarysurgery #veterinaryemergency #weloveourpatients #veterinaryhospital #veterinarytechnician #veterinaryreceptionist #weloveourclients #wehelpanimals #lowcountrylocal #lowcountrylocalfirst #veterinarystaff #chs #charleston #mountpleasant
