I stayed very disciplined yesterday with my food and crushed one of my short term goals which was to be under 220 pounds by today. I weighed in at 217.6 .... my next short term goal is to be under 200 pounds by December 27th which basically gives me 3 months to lose just over 17.6 pounds ... I'm going to remain disciplined to crush that goal as well .....
My last transformation photo I had on loose pajama bottoms which gave the illusion that the pouch was not an issue. It’s definitely still a problem, but slowly making progress.
So here is the comparison from the beginning to this morning (after a binge on A LOT of Funyuns and wine 🙃🙃) and another from my 30th day of keto to today

Also I’m out of ketosis and will probably stay out of ketosis until November. I still plan to eat relatively clean but there is probably going to be more cheat days that average so just counting calories and monitoring my carb and sugar intake.
Slow and steady wins the race... As long as you're running the race. The beginning of the year was bumpy but seeing my progress makes those bumps just bumps. I'm at the point where I can take off my jeans without unzipping and undoing them. The same jeans that I had to squeeze in when I bought them... 😅

Yesterday was my first time fasting for over 24 hours, and I SURVIVED! This is a big deal to me because I am learning to listen to my body. I no longer feel the need to sit down for a meal just because it’s “dinner time”. I would eat 3+ meals a day (plus snacks) even if I wasn’t hungry, because I thought it was what I was supposed to do. If I wasn’t eating something every 4-5 hours, i would literally convince myself that i was DYING of starvation! Since I began Keto + Intermittent Fasting a few weeks ago, I’ve been able to slowly curve my addiction to food and sugar (mostly cheesecake), and fuel my body appropriately. I’m still having VIVID dreams about cheesecake, but at least I’m not having five slices a week anymore, so...PROGRESS! 😂 With 3 week in and 19lbs down, I am motivated to keep going and see where the journey takes me! #Keto #ketolifestyle

I haven't really "fallen off the wagon" as I'm not binge eating sweets or chocolate, so I guess that's good? The problem is, I turned to food for comfort again and even if it's not unhealthy food, if I eat much more calories than I need, I gain weight. Hell, everyone does. Duh. 😒

Dunno if you can see the difference, but yeah! To those who say "diets don't work," you're right and wrong. The only diets that do not work are fad diets. A true diet of portion control, eating lean meats, such as chicken, red beef and tuna, fruits and veggies and cutting out drinks with high fructose corn syrup. That works. Exercise (cardio) for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. Drink plenty of water, tea, and if you have a taste for it, kombucha, and occasionally juice that is low in sugars and has no high fructose corn syrup.
And over time, when you reach your goal weight, it isn't a free ticket to go back to eating whatever, because that same food got you where you were to begin with. Keep on being healthy and make healthy choices. I hope that over time as I continue through my weight loss journey, I inspire others to want to live a healthier lifestyle.

Here is our latest weight loss update! Today marks 25 weeks on our health program and it has been so encouraging for us that even this far in we are consistently losing weight every week and getting healthier and healthier! With other programs I have tried I would get to a point that I would plateau and get stuck and then get frustrated and quit but I love that this program puts us in a steady fat burn state that is scientifically proven to work and that is consistent 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼.

When you feel like you've been literally working your ass off, eating like a rabbit, and you're not seeing any change on the scale... Well, that shit sucks to be quite honest with you. It is super discouraging. It can make you wonder why you should even bother to keep going.
I have delt with two major weightloss stalls since getting serious about my physical health. The first at the cusp of 200lbs. I was stuck between 205 and 200 for months. I thought I would never see #onederland
. And now here I am so close to the 180s that I can taste it and I can't seem to get away from 191. I've lost only 10ths of a pound in the last 2, almost 3, weeks. I feel like I'm killing myself in the gym, yet nothing is changing.
But that's just it, things are changing. And that's something that most people don't realize. Yes it is disappointing and discouraging, but just because the number isn't going down, doesn't mean there is no progress being made. Not all progress can be seen on the scale. This is why it is so so so important to measure progress in more ways than the number on the scale.
Take progress pictures! Are you getting stronger? Are you losing inches? Do your clothes fit different? Pay attention to these things. Track your progress in more ways than stepping on the scale every day and obsessing over that stupid number. Other things are changing, you just have to take the time to notice them.

From Size 18 to Size 8 in less than 6 months!!!! I literally don’t remember ever wearing a size 8. I know I was a size 10 in middle school though. I literally am in disbelief!!!! Soooo thankful for the ease of our health program and that it is proven to work and instilling in us the healthy habits to not only lose the weight, but to keep it off and be healthy! MONTHLY WEIGH IN UPDATE. The picture on the left is from a month ago, where I weighed in at 164.2 lbs, and was over restricting my calorie intake to 1450 a day, each of my workouts was about 1/3 cardio, and I was abusing laxatives on Fridays so that I would weigh in less on Saturdays. 🙁😔😖 On the right, I'm eating about 2200 cal per day, do all weightlifting for my gym workouts and doing cardio once a week if I feel like running in the park on weekends....😊💪🏃♀️ And picture wise, there's not a huge amount of difference, but scale wise, I weighed in at 170.4. Which makes me happy, because I'm living and exercising right and I'm loving my life even more! Have a great Saturday everyone! 😊💛

post!! I haven't been very active on here because my life has gotten crazy!! I started a new job last week and I start NURSING SCHOOL in a month!!! I've been running around doing a million things everyday trying to get prepared and not lose progress. I had to buy my uniform scrubs and I've been putting it off all summer. I went today, and holy crap!! I bought a large!!! Just a large. No X's in front of it!!!! I'm beaming 😁 I'm so damn proud of myself! Buying clothes labelled with 1 letter is something I accepted that I'd never do again. But, here I am!! With all the changes I've had happening lately I've been struggling to find time for me. Sometimes this is what weight loss looks like. This is my last month. Which included our anniversary celebration weekend as well as another laid back weekend. What matters is that I’ve come back to life and my WOE and I’m still out on top. No regrets guys!
