I stayed very disciplined yesterday with my food and crushed one of my short term goals which was to be under 220 pounds by today. I weighed in at 217.6 .... my next short term goal is to be under 200 pounds by December 27th which basically gives me 3 months to lose just over 17.6 pounds ... I'm going to remain disciplined to crush that goal as well .....

My last transformation photo I had on loose pajama bottoms which gave the illusion that the pouch was not an issue. It’s definitely still a problem, but slowly making progress. So here is the comparison from the beginning to this morning (after a binge on A LOT of Funyuns and wine πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ) and another from my 30th day of keto to today #weightloss #naturalweightloss #weightlossupdate #comparisonphoto Also I’m out of ketosis and will probably stay out of ketosis until November. #weightlossupdate Yesterday was my first time fasting for over 24 hours, and I SURVIVED! This is a big deal to me because I am learning to listen to my body. I no longer feel the need to sit down for a meal just because it’s β€œdinner time”. I would eat 3+ meals a day (plus snacks) even if I wasn’t hungry, because I thought it was what I was supposed to do. If I wasn’t eating something every 4-5 hours, i would literally convince myself that i was DYING of starvation! Since I began Keto + Intermittent Fasting a few weeks ago, I’ve been able to slowly curve my addiction to food and sugar (mostly cheesecake), and fuel my body appropriately. I’m still having VIVID dreams about cheesecake, but at least I’m not having five slices a week anymore, so...PROGRESS! πŸ˜‚ With 3 week in and 19lbs down, I am motivated to keep going and see where the journey takes me! #Keto #ketolifestyle
Weightloss journey update . I gained 5lbs/2.5kilo back since my lowest weight mid- August πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž . I haven't really "fallen off the wagon" as I'm not binge eating sweets or chocolate, so I guess that's good? The problem is, I turned to food for comfort again and even if it's not unhealthy food, if I eat much more calories than I need, I gain weight. Hell, everyone does. Duh. πŸ˜’ . πŸŽ‰Over 25 pounds lost! πŸŽ‰ Dunno if you can see the difference, but yeah! To those who say "diets don't work," you're right and wrong. The only diets that do not work are fad diets. A true diet of portion control, eating lean meats, such as chicken, red beef and tuna, fruits and veggies and cutting out drinks with high fructose corn syrup. That works. Exercise (cardio) for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. Drink plenty of water, tea, and if you have a taste for it, kombucha, and occasionally juice that is low in sugars and has no high fructose corn syrup. And over time, when you reach your goal weight, it isn't a free ticket to go back to eating whatever, because that same food got you where you were to begin with. Keep on being healthy and make healthy choices. Here is our latest weight loss update! Today marks 25 weeks on our health program and it has been so encouraging for us that even this far in we are consistently losing weight every week and getting healthier and healthier! With other programs I have tried I would get to a point that I would plateau and get stuck and then get frustrated and quit but I love that this program puts us in a steady fat burn state that is scientifically proven to work and that is consistent πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ.

Hi Guys, weight loss update, yes I'm still doing this lol. Today is a milestone day for me. I bought 2 pairs of size 14 Jeans. I am also currently 214lbs down from 227. Slow and steady :) lots of walking and eating healthy.
Plateaus suck. β€’β€’β€’ When you feel like you've been literally working your ass off, eating like a rabbit, and you're not seeing any change on the scale... Well, that shit sucks to be quite honest with you. It is super discouraging. It can make you wonder why you should even bother to keep going. β€’β€’β€’ I have delt with two major weightloss stalls since getting serious about my physical health. The first at the cusp of 200lbs. I was stuck between 205 and 200 for months. I thought I would never see #onederland . And now here I am so close to the 180s that I can taste it and I can't seem to get away from 191. I've lost only 10ths of a pound in the last 2, almost 3, weeks. I feel like I'm killing myself in the gym, yet nothing is changing. β€’β€’β€’ But that's just it, things are changing. And that's something that most people don't realize. Yes it is disappointing and discouraging, but just because the number isn't going down, doesn't mean there is no progress being made. Not all progress can be seen on the scale. This is why it is so so so important to measure progress in more ways than the number on the scale. β€’β€’β€’ Take progress pictures! Are you getting stronger? Are you losing inches? Do your clothes fit different? Pay attention to these things. Track your progress in more ways than stepping on the scale every day and obsessing over that stupid number. Saturday was 8 month post op and it’s been just over 2 months since might last weigh in update. Since July’s update I’ve lost 8.2kgs and I’ve lost 51.7kgs in total. I am still dropping every week and watching what I eat really carefully. And really focus on my water intake. I’m changing clothes sizes quicker than I can wear new outfits πŸ˜‚ so I have to limit my spending 🀭. I had new business headshots last week and I didn’t recognise the person in the back of the camera! I can’t wait to share the new photos and do a scary comparison from last years headshots! I have good days and bad days but I’m also learning what my new stomach can handle (reheated meat is a big no no for me 😫). Not where I was, but not where I used to be either. But it is going in the right direction. β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β € Left is at my heaviest 285lbs at WDW Florida and the photo that sparked my original weight loss journey, and right is me this morning. I did get sub 200lbs and then life happened and I lost my why/purpose to health and gained injuries/a dog/moved/changed career and the list goes on of excuses. My return to weight loss and fitness has been surged this year with goals and aims for 2019 professionally and personally. β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β €β € Bar family, nobody in my day-to-day knew me at my lightest. From Size 18 to Size 8 in less than 6 months!!!! I literally don’t remember ever wearing a size 8. I know I was a size 10 in middle school though. I literally am in disbelief!!!! Soooo thankful for the ease of our health program and that it is proven to work and instilling in us the healthy habits to not only lose the weight, but to keep it off and be healthy! It was an AMAZING feeling to fit into size 8 jeans today. I literally never thought it was possible. Please reach out to me if you are interested in losing weight and getting healthy. I'm feeling so good. β€’β€’β€’ Today marks the first day of week two of @stephanie_buttermore and @jeffnippard 's Women's Specialization Program. This is the first program that I have ever truly enjoyed and been able to stick with. They put so much thought into this workout and it shows. I am absolutely loving how much variation there is day to day. β€’β€’β€’ The program is 8 weeks long, split up into two blocks. 6 days on, 1 day off a week. I was hesitant at first since I'm usually only at the gym around 4 days a week. But I've been going to the gym in the morning instead of at night after work, and I'm loving starting my day here. It actually felt really strange to not be go to the gym on my rest day. I might actually start going every day and just do cardio on my rest day. I'm really loving the gym for the first time in a long time and it feels so good. β€’β€’β€’ Big thanks to Steph and Jeff for creating such an awesome program. MONTHLY WEIGH IN UPDATE. The picture on the left is from a month ago, where I weighed in at 164.2 lbs, and was over restricting my calorie intake to 1450 a day, each of my workouts was about 1/3 cardio, and I was abusing laxatives on Fridays so that I would weigh in less on Saturdays. πŸ™πŸ˜”πŸ˜– On the right, I'm eating about 2200 cal per day, do all weightlifting for my gym workouts and doing cardio once a week if I feel like running in the park on weekends....😊πŸ’ͺπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ And picture wise, there's not a huge amount of difference, but scale wise, I weighed in at 170.4. Which makes me happy, because I'm living and exercising right and I'm loving my life even more! #nonscalevictory and #transparency post!! I haven't been very active on here because my life has gotten crazy!! I started a new job last week and I start NURSING SCHOOL in a month!!! I've been running around doing a million things everyday trying to get prepared and not lose progress. I had to buy my uniform scrubs and I've been putting it off all summer. I went today, and holy crap!! I bought a large!!! Just a large. No X's in front of it!!!! I'm beaming 😁 I'm so damn proud of myself! Buying clothes labelled with 1 letter is something I accepted that I'd never do again. But, here I am!! With all the changes I've had happening lately I've been struggling to find time for me. I've been eating on plan most of this week though! The @21daymealplan has made this a lifestyle change....not a diet! Thank you @myadventuretofit for this simple and easy plan with great results!
Let's talk about motivation. β€’β€’β€’ In one of my recent posts I talked about being uninterested, uninspired, unmotivated in the gym. As upsetting as that was for me, it is so NORMAL. No one wants to be at the gym every single day, every week of their lives. No one. No matter how fit and "perfect" they may seem. Every one has ups and downs when it comes to motivation. β€’β€’β€’ The most important thing is to realize that going to the gym is not something that you HAVE to do, it's something that you want to do. It's something that makes you feel so so good and so accomplished after it's done. β€’β€’β€’ This journey is not about forcing yourself into the gym everyday to do 2 hours of cardio. It's about finding something that you enjoy and that you can make a habit out of. This is a LIFESTYLE. Does everyone want to go to work every day? Hell no. I have been ON POINT with both my #training and #nutrition , I’ve been training hard and eating 1270kcal/day, which is very very low, even for a petite woman like me. . I don’t know if I’m bloated, if I’ve hit a plateau, or if I’m having insulin issues from all the #fruit I’ve been eating. . In other, brighter news, I’m loving squatting recently! I’m lifting very little weight (below 30kg), and I’m focusing on technique 😊 .
