Made vegan, gluten free & nut free snack bars with leftover pulp. They taste pretty good! Im shocked!!! Just gotta keep working on my recipe but this is what I did today..
In a food processor, make your sunflower seed butter. I used pulsed 1C sunflower seeds until smooth (adding 1TBS of coconut oil + 1TBS honey). I added 1C raw quinoa (can also use oats) & 1TBS of flax meal to the mix and blended. I then added 1.5C of pineapple + blueberry pulp, 1/2C honey, 1TBS cinnamon, 1teaspoon of sea salt, 1/2C sunflower seeds (to be ‘chopped’ in there) & blended. I preheated my oven to 350* and let them bake in a cake pan (or cookie sheet...) for 40 min. Easy & quick🤷🏽♀️🌱

My all time fave breakfast now I’ve found a recipe that I like! Makes 6 with 40g of oats I normally have 2 so I just count 1 syn for each! They smell unreal I want to eat them now🤤. Been off plan again today but had a lovely day with my mum, not over eaten either just enjoyed myself you can’t be on a diet 24/7 no matter what life gets in the way! But tomorrow is a new day and I’m ready for the week ahead 💪🏼
Pasta queen 🍝👑 •
I really need to stop eating soooo much pasta but it’s just my favourite 😭 when I made the homemade red pepper sauce for the gnocchi last week we made LOADS and freezed it! •
So tonight I had it with pasta, courgette, mushrooms & chicken sausages. And cheese obv because what is pasta without cheese 🧀?! This was also my pre half marathon fuel ⛽️ 😍
On the left... it was my 2014/2015 weight loss journey. I had lost about 60lbs in a very unhealthy way. I would strictly count calories, eat chips instead of the apple & do ENDLESS cardio.. that was frustrating!!!! I was so consumed by numbers. The scale, the calories, number of calories burned.. anything with numbers! Didn’t use Herbalife then.
In the middle, gained double the weight back!!! To the right, I have lost over 105lbs, I had gained in 2015-2017, due to a lack of healthy nutrition.. the moment I got comfortable on my previous journey I ended up binging and losing motivation for that lifestyle of endless counting.. today, I don’t count calories. I don’t count anything! I eat HEALTHY! I incorporate my Herbalife Nutrition. I eat 5-7 times a day. I’m happy! I don’t starve. I have support from my group!!! I workout 💪🏼 I lift weights, I do push ups & burpees 👏🏼 things I NEVER imagined doing. & now I have a BOOOOOTY 🍑
Like I mentioned in my last post. I want to continue building my booty. My goal is a small waist and thick thighs 🙌🏼 it’s not a number on a scale, it’s a feeling when I look in the mirror. I’ll know when I get to my goal 💪🏼 and I am working on it EVERYDAY! This isn’t something you do for a week or 6 weeks.. then quit when the results don’t match your couples weeks effort. This is something you do for life! Even when you look good in the mirror, you keep going to MAINTAIN it. 💪🏼 yes I’ve lost over 100+ pounds. & sometimes I might make it “look easy”. It’s not easy.. it’s worth it! I started a journey over and over again TOO MANY times! It wasn’t until I understood to take it day by day.. & eventually in a year of CONSISTENCY I’d see the huge difference. Thank you HERBALIFE! 🙏🏼

So this is my body on a Monday morning a few days into vacation- no flexing, no filters, no post-workout pump. Just me and a stupid look on my face (One day I’ll learn the art of selfie taking, but that day is not today.) The first pic is from 6 years ago this week. Just 2 weeks after starting to lift weights. This was not my heaviest weight. But a low moment since I’d yo-yo’d back on over half the weight I’d lost.
Interesting thing happened recently. I stumbled upon a comment someone had left on a post of mine from October “Still fat though”
First of all, he sounds like a swell guy going around whispering such sweet nothings on my post like that.
Second, there are way worse things one could be called than fat.
Third, there is a time that a comment like that would have broken me to bits.
Happily, that is not where I’m at right now when it comes to my body.
I have massive moments of self doubt (see last months Katie Crewe meltdown for proof) But I rarely, if ever, look in the mirror and see my previous reflection staring back.
That took a crap ton of time, by the way. So if you’ve lost a lot of weight and still see yourself as you were, know that it gets better.
IF you work on it. For me what worked was lots of talking out loud to myself: Calling myself out on my own BS.
Fourth, when I look at that picture from this morning I think “Hell Yes!” Which is saying something considering how rarely I swear.
Don’t let anyone tell you how you should see your body.
And, for what it’s worth, if the person smack talking you is YOU?
Tell her/him to hush.
I can’t even count how many times I fell to the floor today 🤦🏻♀️. But that’s OK 👌🏽, KEEP WATCHING ME... 👀 Also, shout out to @ferdinandgetfit
for the intro & workout 😅 yep, #thatsmytrainer
Happy cake day!! The day has arrived! I missed my goal by 2 pounds! But our goal for the end of the year was 220 so I think I'm on pace!(check last picture!) Completes 33 straight days! No excuses, no BS, worked my butt off sad to not make the goal but I know where I came short and will fix it! (After getting fat for the next 2 days of course!) I've lost a total of 132 pound! And couldn't have lost 10 with out all of your amazing support and encouraging words, @batgirlcindy89
thank you guys for all the push by starting your own journeys it helped me more than you can imagine! @lilycastellon01
