It’s going to be hard. But hard is not impossible! . Abnehmen ist kein Zuckerschlecken. Quasi wortwörtlich gesehen. Im Moment, um genau zu sagen seit Wochen, will mein Körper kein Gramm Gewicht mehr rausrücken. Ich bin mir sicher, dass es damit zusammenhängt, dass ich nun Müsli und Nüsse zum Frühstück esse und durch die Kohlehydrate mehr Hunger habe. Ca. 200 Kalorien pro Tag esse ich dadurch mehr. Allerdings wachsen meine Haare auch deshalb wieder und der Haarausfall hat aufgehört. Aber ich bin nun hin und hergerissen, was nun zu tun ist. Ich würde natürlich wahnsinnig gerne weiter abnehmen, allerdings möchte ich auch nicht ungesund aussehen und auch nicht ungesund sein. 💓 •PRODUCT REVIEW• I will admit, I'm not the healthiest of people, my idea of a balanced diet is not adding an extra sugar in my coffee 😂 I have tried vitamins before, but the smell of them made me feel physically sick & I would stop taking them. I followed Mr.Shed to the Netherlands last week for a work conference. He came down with conference/convention cold/plague on the last day. 6 days later here I am. We hiked up to Gibraltar Rock today! Before I would not have gone by myself to a place I’d never hiked to before. I also would have been so tired from moving all the extra weight my body was carrying and I might not have even made it all the way. There were some steep spots I would have been so scared of falling or tripping at. 🐙Why you gained weight. - 🐙There's always two camps to the scale. One is "step on it every day" (accuracy), and the other is "step on it once in a while" (emotions/motivation). - 🐙I understand the standpoint of both, but I'm on team "step on it every day". It's just the most objective way to track progress. It's uncomfortable yeah, there may be a lot of demons to fight seeing that number go up and down yeah, but it's data. And the more data we have, the better chance we have to do something about it. - 🐙Here's the thing though, you could have sworn you did everything right but your weight still went up. A lot of factors could have contributed. 🐡1) Weighed in at a different time than usual 🐡2) Ate more carbs than usual 🐡3) Ate more salt than usual 🐡4) Need to go "number 2" 🐡5) Stress 🐡6) Heavy lifting the previous day - 🐙For accuracy, I always have the same routine to weigh myself everyday. Wake up, use the toilet, strip to boxers and weigh. Every single day. There are days I forget and drink a jug of water or eat something quick before I step on the scale. Almost always I end up seeing a unexpected number. Nowadays if I forget to weigh and ate or drank something first I just don't weigh for the day. That number will invite too many questions to answer. - 🐙Carbs and salt both soak up water in the body. Increases water retention and so, super temporary weight gain. Simply excess water. Once it's processed weight drops back down to normal. - 🐙When we're stressed our body also tends to hold more water which can make us heavier and bloated. This is one of the reasons that you tend to see weight gain during "the time of the month" - 🐙Needing to go "number 2" happens to me a lot. My timings day to day aren't the same. On some days I just went the night before so I'm extra light, on other days I just haven't gone yet and my scale weight seems to not move at all. When you're looking at 0.1kg movements, all these lil things do matter. - 🐙Lifting heavy also makes our body hold water. When our muscles are repair mode they tend to hold on to water and other nutrients during the process, which contributes to more weight. - 🐙Weight gain is not always fat gain.

This post is going to be a little different since it’s about my cat and I don’t really know what kind of content I want to post and still figuring it out. I always feel so guilty when I look at my cat because I never meant for him to be fat (well, who makes their cats fat on purpose ?) but he just gained weight throughout the years. When people come to my house and say things like « Oh wow ! He’s huge ! » it always feels like they are telling me that I’m lazy for not helping him lose weight when actually I’m just lazy in general !
