That feel when you're wearing small panties, a size 10 dress but still feel like everything you are wearing must be just really generously sized. I still don't see a 65kg person but moreso like I'm still in my 90s.
Feels like my progress is sooo slow at the moment. Guess that’s the whole instant gratification conditioning that’s become the norm in the world! The main thing is I’m still heading in the right direction, I’m still loving cooking and my mind and body are in better shape each week. Baby steps are still progress 💚
When you’re trying to be cute for a post workout pic and realize... you have kale stuck in your teeth. 🤷🏼♀️
Welcome to my shit show friends. .
Side note- cardio flow ✅
🍑Sunday morning Street Parking Butts & Guts💪🏼 This was my first B&G WOD- it’s an accessory workout put out on Sunday & I think I’m going to use it or the “Suns Out Guns Out” accessory for my Sunday WOD. •Good Mornings •Sumo Deadlifts •Planks •Hollow Rocks. GOT THEM DONE.
I almost killed myself while transitioning from a palm plank to elbow plank. I was using my phone as a timer so thank God there’s no evidence of it other than a really sore shoulder ☠️
The difference here is about 3years.
Thank Facebook for another reminder.
Between 2013 and 2016.
Just to remind myself and others out there it's a lifestyle and it's ok to take it slowly.
No matter how slow so far you're changing your habits for better, healthier ones is just a matter of time.
Let's get it and stay focused!!!!
I've heard people say "I'd rather be fat and happy, than skinny and miserable." However I promise you can be just as happy, if not happier living a healthier life. Its not about "trying to be skinny..." you will find fitness and health to be so much more than that, and so much more for your life.
for more outstanding transformations!

Since it’s the first day of fall and the humidity completely dropped here, I decided that we needed chili for dinner! I tried a recipe from Anna (@keto_in_pearls

Just going to leave this here..
Note to self...
In trying to change my relationship with food, I need to be actively listening when I go to snack..
Am I wanting to eat because I'm actually hungry or is it to aid an emotion, like am I sad, angry or bored?
Whilst evaluating this, I want to practice having a big glass of water & wait a few minutes..
If I'm actually hungry after this, then I need to make a choice, to eat something that is going to get me closer to my health goals, or something that's going to leave me with regrets..
It is a cycle & one I intend on controlling!

How do you handle setbacks?
I guess I'm still not stretching or listening to my body enough. I've had a pain/ tightness in my right calf for a few weeks now and I've just been working out through it. I'd rest a bit and modify or get back to it but today as I was running I felt a sudden pop and sudden searing pain in my calf. Now I'm laid up without being walk or step using my right leg...calf sprain/tear. .
I know the recovery will take a little bit....hopefully not too long. I just have to remember this is a short chapter in my life. I'll reset and continue as soon as I can be up walking but this time I'll stop being so prideful and learn to listen when my body is signaling. .
Another lesson learned...
Honestly, I hate taking days off but I just have to be patient so I can avoid reinjury. You know your hooked when taking days off is difficult to imagine. .
On a positive note...these next few days or week (s) will give me more time to complete some projects that I've been working on. I'm going to make the most of the situation and ease back into my routine as soon as I can.
Tips or suggestions to make the most of my time at home?
If improving your life and changing the way you look was easy, then everyone would do it. But it's not. It's hard to make the changes necessary to improve your like and the way you look. You have to be committed to working out and eating healthier. It's not temporary. It's a lifestyle change.
Are you ready to make that change??
