Holy smokes! This story couldn’t be closer to mine! Working out HARD with little to no results and thinking I was doing everything wrong while trying anything to reach my goals! Check out Laura’s story: “Ok here goes....Last Year vs TODAY. So this picture on the left, I was CERTAIN would never see the light of day. 🤦♀️😩It was when I was at my WORST...exhausted, depressed, no clothes fitting (even my biggest sizes), was meticulously counting macros🤢, meal prepping, portioning, calculating what my calories were, spending $300 per month on specific supplements/fat burners, working out a lot despite the tiredness, pushing and pushing myself, etc.....Y’ALLL I was getting NOWHERE!!! Like loss of maybe 2lbs and only .1% body fat IN A YEAR! (Hence the mad look on my face in this pic!) My thyroid was low. We were broke and stressing over finances every. Single. Month. so yeah, I have all of these things. in our society, we’re taught to think these things are ugly or less desirable, or less worthy of respect, but that doesn’t stop me from feeling like a confident, bad-ass bitch!
don’t get me wrong, weight loss doesn’t just magically solve all of the problems in your life and the things we struggle with don’t simply disappear because we weigh less. confidence is something you have to work at every single day!
my confidence has gotten much better since losing weight but it’s not solely because I lost weight, if that makes sense. feeding my body well and exercising make me *feel* SO much happier, healthier, and ready to take on whatever is happening in my life! treating my body with respect, caring for it, and making the best decisions for my physical/mental health is what’s helped me develop the most confidence, and everyone is capable of that!
**just a note—obviously, confidence is something that one can have without losing weight. you can be confident at any size, any weight, any _____. I’m just sharing my own experience 😊. / ❤️ follow @Thinking_MT

On this day in 2015 Riley was christened and the pictures from that day triggered something inside of me that just couldn’t accept living the way I was. That day I cried for hours over how I looked how I felt how I could feel my ankle fat when I walked how I couldn’t do things with Riley that a smaller and more healthy mother would be able to how even a 3X dress didn’t fit me comfortably and how I didn’t want to live my life with so much hate inside me directed at my own soul. Today I am 110lbs. It’s funny I still can’t bring myself to wear a dress but I easily did it 3 years ago. I’m not where I want to be yet but this morning when the photos from 2015 came up on my time hop I spent a lot of time thinking about how far I have come mentally and physically. I don’t regret a single thing that has happened since that day in 2015 because that all brought me here it made me a version of me that I can wake up in the morning and accept. #weightlosstransformation #wls #vsg #vsgcommunity #weightlossbeforeandafter
This is just three weeks difference, same jeans! Consistent meals, acknowledging my goals, accountability, correct nutrients, and the new kickass program I’m in!
I went from feeling bloated allllllll the time to now feeling just an occasional nighttime bloat. I’m feeling so much healthier!

I’ve still been at a plateau over summer, but I won’t let it discourage me. Everything happens for a reason and sometimes progress is slow. Trusting in God’s process is what life is all about and that includes my weight loss journey. This isn’t a race and I’ll reach my goal when I reach it. All that matters is that I don’t stop trying ✨

Who is this new person who wears colors and sleeveless shirts. I’m so happy that I’ve lost weight but also that I’ve gain so much more confidence and love for myself. *** you may not tell but this is 65lbs difference.
I have been so indecisive about what kind of workout program I want to do going into my second trimester. I definitely what to stick to cardio but with my energy still being low and need something not super long so I can be in and out quick and easy so for right now I’m thinking about hanging with my boy Shaun T! So thankful I have 700+ workouts on my streaming website to choose from! What are you guys doing to prevent weight gain this holiday season?
Just a little motivation monday. Makes me happy that my transformation pictures have inspired others to start their own weightloss.
Wish the picture came out lighter so that you could see my Faux leather leggings. A first for me in a Size 1x my shirt was sleeveless but ended up putting a sweater once I took the picture. Old habit of covering my arms. Husband was my #1
fan lol he kept telling me show of your outfit take the sweater off, which I did after all.
Home workouts when I cant make it to the gym 💪🏼
Still looking like I ate 2 dozen donuts! 😅 Any day now I’ll look full blown preggo but until then I am accepting my changing body for what it is. This cardio program is already really helping me lean out which I’m super excited about and I get to punch and kick the air for 30 min a day not mad about that either! 🥊
I’ve had to stop myself from obsessing over food of what’s good and what’s bad. When I get ask about my diet I now say I don’t have one. I am enjoying food but in moderation and also learning to find alternatives to food that will make me gain weight. I still workout during my lunch break for 30min every day. I think that is what has helped me tone my body and slim my waist down.
