Laguna de Apoyo the perfect lakeside retreat from Granada. Only a 20 minute drive ($5 shuttles available from Oasis Hostel) from the city and you arrive here in this paradise.
Laguna de Apoyo is a massive crater lake with incredibly clear turquoise water, perfect for swimming. The area is largely unspoilt or developed, so bring supplies as shops are very small and infrequent.
Most hostel offer day prices from $5-$10 on average to access their properties, including unlimited use of bar, restaurant, snorkelling gear, kayaks, paddle boards, private lakeside beaches, loungers and sometimes more.
As it’s so easy to get here from Granada you can definitely visit as a day trip, we however do recommend staying a night, it’s beautiful, especially if your lucky enough to catch a good sunset or sunrise!

Walking through the streets and parks of Vancouver, soaking in all the fresh air, all the silence and all these moments full of joy. It’s indescribable how magical, calm and positive at the same time the vibes in this city are. Vancouver, you are definitely one of the most stunning places I have seen so far. Have you ever been to Vancouver? If yes, how did you like it? ☺️🌎🇨🇦 #travelvancouver #natureandfreedom #gratitudeoverload
There’s just something about meeting people that you see yourself in them.
Does that ever happen to you?

she took my branding workshop in #javeaspain
last month and I am so happy to have met her. At only 19 she’s taking her journey into her own hands. Silencing what friends, family and society tells her is the “right path” which is something super hard to do at 29, let alone 19! She’s seen me at one of the most difficult parts in my journey, but still managed to see the triumph, the good and reminded me, the best thing anyone could ever remind me of, why I do what I do.
This is an incredible young woman. She understands what it means to invest in her story, her passion and took the leap to get closer to her goals. Last month we talked a lot about her blog, her dreams and where her mind was. If I knew what she knew at 19.. WOW. She’s taught me so much and I can’t wait to keep helping her build and grow.
Doesn’t matter what age, or stage you’re in. It’s all about mindset and willpower. With that you can do anything. #travelingfroisms
Learn more in my stories about her journey and click link in bio to take advantage of my brand building course before it closes. See you there. #travelingfrobranding
”In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations” - Iroquois Maxim
Live JOYFULLY. Love honestly. Think forwardly. It’s a choice! I can promise you I know strife, but it has never gotten me down. Never for long. The worst of human nature? I’ve had a taste of it. And still, I choose to see the best in others and this beautiful world. Life is too short for negativity, and this planet is too beautiful for us not to consider the future😋
***PS, I had a Native American ancestor 6-10 generations ago, so this isn’t cultural appropriation ⛺️ Oops I said it #savagesam #23andme #elizabethwarren
Exploring Croatia‘s colosseum. Designed to host gladiatorial contests this 1st century amphitheatre is located in the north east of Istria’s main city Pula. It was constructed in 27 BC – 68 AD and is among the six largest surviving Roman arenas in the World. Nowadays the theatre is used as a venue for many concerts & is called „the arena“ by local people.
Many thanks to Wikipedia for helping me with this caption 😉

Que lujazo de tiempo tuvimos este día que nos dedicamos a pasear por la ciudad y acabamos en el Puente de la Torre, que vistas tan maravillosas como siempre. You are never too old to dream of fairytales right?
Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take that step 💪
a very happy me & a very awkward hand pose 🌼
I’m just a girl, doing her thing, one step at a time. 🏜❤️💫
All the best mornings involve flowers 🌼💛 It was about this time last year that my partner Craig and I booked my one-way flight to the East Coast for the holidays. We spent Christmas with Craig’s family and then loaded up a U-haul and his pup to drive across the country to Mammoth. After living on my own for five years, moving in with a partner was... not the easiest. For the first few months, I struggled with the loss of my quiet mornings by myself. I missed being on my own schedule and starting my day introspectively.
Ten months later, I wish I could tell you that Craig and I have it all figured out. We don’t. Mornings rarely involved quiet time these days. But they do look like this quite often—rushing out the door with at least one dog in tow to catch a sunrise together, laughing at the chaos, pushing each other to live more intentionally and loving this amazing place we live in. Oh, and wearing flower crowns.
🍁🍂🍃 Autumn is quickly turning into my fav season 🤗

You are never as free to grow as a human as when you are traveling alone
When nobody knows you
When you can be someone at breakfast and be someone new by lunch
When your soul is free to fully express it's current state without any limitations or fears.
I think travel is vital to the formation of some aspects of the human soul.
