I used to want what everybody else had.
I wanted skin like everybody else, I wanted eyebrows like everybody else, I wanted a body like everybody else.
What made me ME didn’t make me happy.
But actually, I’ve come to realise that the things that make me who I am, are important. My body shape is mine, it’s what I’ve made it, and yes, there’s things I’d change about it, but it’s mine and it’s who I am and actually, that does make me happy. My socially unconventional eyebrows, they’re not exactly what’s on trend right now, but so what. My bad skin, I hate it, everyone with bad skin hates it, but I’m not bothered by it anymore. It doesn’t take away my confidence.
All the things that I used to think of as flaws, well they make me who I am and make me stand out.
I was going to say something like embrace your flaws and love yourself, but actually, no body has flaws. Flaws implies there’s something imperfect about it, and actually everyone is perfect.
So, embrace your characteristics. Your trademarks. And love them. Because they make you who you are. They make you stand out. It’d be very boring out there if we all looked the same.... be confident in your own skin! #confidence #loveyourself #embracewhoyouare #wearealldifferent #weareallperfect #wearyourownstyle #bewhoyouwanttobe #model #modelling #weareallgorgeous #strongyetdelicate #powerliftingwomen #instanodel #instafitness #nofilters #justbeauty #raw
