Last week I hit a wall with myself. An undeniable force to be pushed is now raining down on me. So today I said yes, and tomorrow I will make one of three big investments on myself. I finally said fuck the excuses. I’m ready to take my life up a notch. Whose coming with me? What’s one thing you have always said you wanted to do for yourself? Or one thing you KNOW would help you, your growth, your business, your health, or whatever your looking to improve if you just signed up for it? Hired it? Or bought it? Stop worrying about the what if’s. The money. Time. Or whatever lame ass excuse you give yourself. We all have them. And they all suck. It’s time to step it up. The world needs me, you, all of us in our highest form. The best investments you can ever make is on YOU. So ask yourself “what can I do to make myself better?” Then go fucking do it. Once we learn how to fully love and accept ourselves, we also learn how much power we have in our own thoughts, emotions, healing, and growth. We can learn how to meet our own needs, and we can then see others for who they are versus what they can do for us. We are no longer devastated by the love we don't get or ways it doesn't get shown... instead we become fulfilled by the love we share. Because we can share it purely. ❤

💐Why do you teach yoga?
YOGA IS DISRUPTIVE. My yoga practice enables me to connect with my inner wisdom and calm the inner critic. My method of teaching is designed to offer tools to notice and let go of mental chatter and physical tension we cling to.
🌷What style of yoga do you teach?
THE NON-COMPETITIVE KIND. My goal for students is simple: when they walk out that studio door, they feel emboldened to impart kindness to themselves and others.
🌹What are your yoga superpowers?
I SEE YOGA EVERYWHERE. I practice yoga when I’m hiking and cooking and crafting and playing. Yoga frames my worldview: I am purpose-driven and use the practice as a method of self-discovery.

It’s Day 2 of #ASANAMUSINGS
and today is about heart opening 💚 Today’s pose is Cow Face aka Gomukhasana. Today’s prompt asks us when we’ve felt heartbreak and how we were able to see love instead of fear to open our heart back up. My heart was broken last December when my cat died after 16 years. I was forced to think about a lot of uncomfortable concepts like death, what happens after we die, and the most unnerving question I had was “why are we all here if we are all just going to die?” I was lost in a ridiculous amount of anxiety and fear the first couple months after he passed away. Through a lot of emotional support, soul searching, and countless amount of Alan Watts philosophy lectures on YouTube, I came to be at peace with losing my cat and death itself. I kept my heart open to the possibility that maybe death didn’t have to be so terrible, and that I just needed help to see it that way. I now understand that death is necessary and just as natural and beautiful as birth.
We start as one, we are born into our own unique journeys, and we then return to the oneness in which we never truly left. I’m not afraid to die anymore, and I see death as a lesson to live every moment to the fullest. “To the well organized mind, death is but the next great adventure” -Albus Dumbledore If anyone is struggling with this concept I HIGHLY recommend going to YouTube and searching “Alan Watts” you’re bound to find something that resonates with you and helps you see something in a different, non-western perspective. .. 🧘🏼♀️Hosts:
