My Dad left when I was 6 years old and I never seen or heard from him again. When he passed away years ago one of the very few possessions he left behind was this old rusty beat up harmonica, which he cherished. I later learned that it was passed down to him from his dad, and that my Grandpa was a chromatic player #harmonica
I’ve always wondered if this guy played his cornet in some Old West saloon. He’s certainly dressed for it. Note that the photographer has added gold coloring to his ring and watch chain. Tintype, 1870s.
Alright, it took a bit longer but the #Gibson
mandolin is finally finished 😎 Now to get i back to the owner 👍
’s Broadcaster looking almost gnarly enough.
55 years worth of wear on this amazing piece of Brazilian Rosewood. The frets look a little tired too...
I found this 10'' hand craft Djembe few seconds before gets at the Van and send for trashes.
My neighbour and the refuse collector didn't know what type of tresure they have in their hands!! I was watching the Djembe for few seconds and they saw me, and then I was ready to ask how much you want to give this drum to me, but before I finish my word he just said... TAKE IT!
Took me 2 and a half weeks to find rope, skin, paint, vanish and do research to learn how to fix this drum. Here is a video of how it sounds. Very bassy, deep, agressive sound.

p.s. Found one store in UK who sells products to restore Djembe. I have asked them to guide me of what I need to get to repair it and how to make it and they answer me back the owner of the shop and the only guy who knows how to make it died last year!!!!! #djembe #albertochristodoulou #malidjembestyle #cowdjembe #handcradtinstrument #vintageinstrument #drummer #percussionist

(tuner is playing; I still don’t know how!)
Getting the circa-1900 parlor upright piano tuned. 🎹
Before we had it hauled out of a garage in Tappan (thank you, Craigslist!), we brought the tuner in to ensure it could even BE tuned. That was back in July. We had it moved here, months before joining it ourselves, and now that it has had time to acclimate, we’re getting it tuned for real.
Now, to learn how to play it...
Can you make a Guitar Nut out of human bone?!? Well go check out Ma latest video and find out! Probably the most metal thing I’ve ever done. Also, it features and unreleased track by my current favorite band @grand_lord_high_master #linkinbio
Honest question guys, how many bum buttholes would you lick to own this one? 1, 2, 10? I’ve been pondering this all morning. I think I’d say 3 for me.
One of those fancy Lester Polfuss guitars.
This weeks tip is an aluminum T-bar. This make a great leveling tool. You can get a long T-bar and cut it to various lengths. It also works great a a spot leveling tool when the strings are on the instrument. Oops I forgot the THE lol
Vintage and definitely trouble @nallecolt
