MOROCCAN TAGINE 🍲 Dinner after work was a #yellowsticker (#redsticker ?) @birdseyeuk veggie bowl which I got in @asda for £1!!! 😱 I know I said earlier I don’t really like moroccan spices but this is one of the exceptions to the rule! Tagine with chickpeas, grilled aubergine and cous cous! Added extra mixed veggies and some spicy tofu I wanted to use up 🌱 Contains 2 of your 5 a day and a massive 18g of protein! Does it get any better than this? Yes, this is a breakfast bowl all can enjoy!🌿🌺💜👌 🌿 Ingredients - 2 tbs chia seeds 1cup oats 1packet Frozen mixed berries Plant milk any (coconut, almond, rice) maple syrup (sweetner ) 🌿 Instruction- Mixed all the berries in a blender, when pureed transfer in a bowl and transfer some in a ice tray. I used star shape ice tray, for star shaped berries, and soaked oats in other half of berries puree and in other bowl soaked chia seeds with plant milk. If you soak it for overnight it becomes more smoother and tastier. Add maple syrup and sprinkle some nuts and blueberries. And also l added fresh mint leaves🍃 from my garden. Have a great day guys! One Pot Pasta 🍅🍝 One Pot Tomaten Tagliatelle 🍝🍅 - mit extra viel Soße, besonders tomatig und super cremig. By @miss_gruenkern Recipe for 4 servings: 500 g pasta 1 red onion 2 cans chopped tomatoes 1 L hot water 150 ml (vegan) cream 3 tbsp tomato paste 2 cloves of garlic pepper, salt, oregano, basil, red pepper powder Sauté the chopped onions in some oil. Add tomato paste and pressed garlic and roast them. Deglace it with chopped tomatoes, cream and water, season it and bring it to the boil. Essa conheci recentemente e foi amor à primeira garfada: VINAGRETE DE GENGIBRE 🥗 Os ingredientes foram: - 1 cebola roxa - 1 dente de alho - 1 pimentão verde - 1 pimenta dedo de moça sem semente - 1 pedaço de cerca de 2cm de gengibre - 1/2 xíc de coentro picado - 1/2 colh (chá) de açúcar - 2 colh (sopa) de vinagre de maçã - 100ml de água gelada - sal Todos os ingredientes do preparo eu piquei em pedaços bem pequenos, o menor que consegui. Juntei, reguei com o vinagre e a água, adicionei o açúcar, mexi bem e finalizei com o sal. Fica picante e muito saboroso! Lunch: pasta with courgette, onion and cauliflower. I fried off some garlic and onion (in 1tsp oil, for about 2 mins on high), added 1/2 a courgette and cooked for a further 5 mins before adding smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt and pepper and the pasta and cauliflower (I boiled this together for 9 minutes on high). I topped it with some nooch and black pepper! Here’s an update on my progress - an 8 week transformation, from mid January to today. I’m such a long way off where I want to be physically, but I‘m EXACTLY where I need to be mentally & trust me, that’s the most important thing. If you scroll down my feed, you will see a video (an awful video) uploaded on the 19th Jan. That day was meant to be ‘day 1’ but when I got home I couldn’t bring myself to do a ‘before’ shot, it was like facing up to the poor decisions I’d been making & admitting I was fat. It’s hard to face up to, especially with my background. I’ve been around gyms and exercised from being 15 years of age. I started personal training clients at 18 years of age. I secured a degree in Exercise Science at 21 years of age. See, it doesn’t matter how educated and knowledgable you are... poor nutrition, physical inactivity and a lack of accountability will catch up with all of us, and unfortunately there’s not a ‘skinny tea’ or magic pill out there that can change that; but fortunately, we can. . . . . . . I started this page to document my journey and keep myself motivated. Along the way, I’ve found myself sharing more tips, content & recipes than I’d have imagined. I now get daily inboxes from people asking for advice. It’s incredible... humbling. I’ve changed physically, but completely fell in love with simply HELPING people again. I’ve been in a bit of a rut with my career for a while now, but running this page has highlighted to me exactly where I belong. So I just want to say a huge thank-you to all 1.2k of you who have bothered to follow, the support means THE WORLD. A huge thankyou to Joe @thebodycoach for your encouragement to follow my true passion, and the biggest thank-you to @heresheglowsagain for your relentless support 💚. . . . . I’m now working hard daily to convert my passion back in to a career, and I’m truly the happiest I’ve been since I can remember. Potato Bhaji 🍲😋⁣ This is a top favored dish ⁣in my South Indian cuisine, made with boiled, crumbled potatoes in a mild, flavorful gravy. It is usually served with pooris or dosa.⁣ ⁣ Easy - whole - Vegan ⁣ Recipe below 📝👇🏻⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣ 🔸5 potatoes ( boiled and mashed well )⁣ 🔸3 tsp oil⁣ 🔸1 tsp mustard⁣ 🔸1 tsp chana dal⁣ 🔸½ tsp cumin ⁣ 🔸1 tsp urad dal⁣ 🔸a pinch asafoetida⁣ 🔸few curry leaves⁣ 🔸1 chilli, slit⁣ 🔸1 inch ginger, finely chopped⁣ 🔸1 onion, sliced⁣ 🔸¼ tsp turmeric⁣ 🔸 salt to taste⁣ 🔸1¼ cup water⁣ ⁣ ⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣ 1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, chana dal, cumin,  urad dal, asafoetida , few curry leaves, chilli and ginger.⁣ 2. Sauté on medium flame.⁣ 3. Once the mustard splutters, add the onions and turmeric and mix well. Do not allow the onions to caramelize.⁣ 4. After a few mins, add 1 cup water and cook for 10 minutes or until the onions are tender.⁣ 5. Now add the mashed potatoes and salt.⁣ 6. After 10 minutes the potato masal will thicken, so adjust consistency by adding more water if needed.⁣ 7. Good Morning my loves 🌞⁣ Happy Monday 🌸⁣ Starting my day with a swim 🏊🏻‍♀️⁣ If you were to ask me what my favourite sport is, my answer would be swimming.⁣ Swimming is extremely relaxing. I love the feeling of floating on the water and feeling almost weightless. I find that whenever I leave the pool I feel totally relaxed.⁣ ⁣ One of the biggest benefits of swimming is that it truly works your entire body, head to toe. Swimming:⁣ * increases your heart rate without stressing your body⁣ * tones muscles⁣ * builds strength⁣ * builds endurance⁣ ⁣ And finally, it’s a life skill which everyone should have. Dal is a healthy and “rustic” dish, and one that evokes the feelings of the comforts of home.⁣ ⁣ Toor dal is a great place to start your cooking journey, because it is a relatively forgiving dish if you don’t have a lot of experience.  It’s customizable as well. ⁣ 🍛😋⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Recipe below 👇🏻⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ For the dal:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 cup toor dal⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹½ inch ginger, crushed⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 onion, finely chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 to mato, finely chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹2 tsp garlic, crushed⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 tsp turmeric powder⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 tsp red chilli powder⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹cilantro , chopped⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹1 tsp coriander powder⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔹salt to taste⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ For tempering:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸2 tsp oil ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸1 tsp mustard seeds⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸1 tsp cumin seeds⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸3 red chilies, dried⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸pinch of asafoetida⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸½ tsp red chilli powder⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸½ tsp garam masala powder⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 🔸few curry leaves⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ For dal tadka:⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 1. Pressure cook 1 cup of toor dal with 4 cups of water for 20 mins.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan and saute onions till they turn golden brown.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 3. Add crushed garlic , ginger, chopped tomatoes ,red chilli powder , turmeric and coriander powder and fry without burning the spices.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 4. Now add in cooked daal and mix well ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 5. Add salt to taste.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 6. Adjust the consistency by adding required water.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ 7.
