if you don’t go, but let me tell you! Rest is important. With #weightlifting
you don’t just grow muscle, but put stress on your body, so if you currently feel like you’re lifting the same weights, feel sluggish overall or can’t hit your workouts like you used to, you just need a recovery or an “unload” week! In fact, you should do one not less than every 3 months (though some people and beginners can go longer). In this time eat nutritious food and lots of protein to make sure your body recovers well and you feel the benefits of the unload when you go back to workouts. However, you can do some cardio on your week off, but generally it’s unnecessary, so treat yourself to that rest!
