It's been an exhausting rutting season for the fallow deer.
There’s a bounty on his head 🚫🔫
Another shot of the somewhat spooky-looking amethyst deceiver mushroom (Laccaria amethystina). I think their name sounds like an awesome villain 😈Seen quite a lot of it this year, under beech trees being the best place to look for me!
SOUND ON 🔊 Not the most thrilling video ever- but I just love the incredible variety of noises starlings can make 😍 I filmed this chattery bunch at Spurn Point a few weeks back, and I don’t know about you, but I can distinctly hear them mimicking curlew calls here? There were several curlew feeding in the estuary just meters away, so at least I could see where they got the inspiration 🤷♀️🤓
A curious European robin. These little guys are one of my favourite British birds (such a cliche!) but they’re cute, friendly and did I mention CUTE?! 🧡 Like many other small birds, they have a high mortality rate. The fat stores they put on in winter only last a few days days, so they need a constant supply of food to make it through the colder months

Like all great models, this stag found his light perfectly.
When your having tea and a robin joins you. 😊
