Probably one of the most common fungi you'll encounter during the winter; turkeytail, or Trametes versicolour. It's Latin name translates roughly as 'thin of many colours', which is apt seeing as it can vary so much. I think it's quite beautiful ☺️🤓🦃
In the UK we have an abundance of squirrels, I think we take them for granted here. It is unfortunately rare to see red squirrels, they have been out bred by the grey squirrel
