Post-gym selfie with my baby 😍 I love coming home to find her waking up, because every minute with her is a blessing! •
On another note, I've been feeling a little discouraged recently because my weight seems to stay right around the same number. I have to work hard at not letting the number on my scale overpower how I FEEL. When I look in the mirror, I SEE the changes I'm making, and more importantly, I FEEL better. I have more energy, more motivation to do things, and I'm overall happier. That's more important than any number on a scale. 😊
Jumping into something new is pretty scary right? 😑⠀
I’ve been there plenty of times. Depending on the “something new” you create doubts in your head, your heart starts pounding, maybe you go into panic or anxiety mode. 😱 You imagine all that could go wrong and consider that you should be grateful and satisfied for all that you have now. You imagine how your choice will affect others...especially your kids. You imagine how you will look dumb for trying the NEW or how people will tell you “I told you so!” 🙄
So you step back maybe for a second, maybe for longer. The NOW is comfortable, it’s what we know and understand. Why rock the boat they say? Why take the risk financially, spiritually, emotionally? You name it!⠀
Trust me! I’ve been there and continue to be there with plenty of choices I make. The NEW is still scary to me. .
But why can’t we look at the NEW as exciting💫, as opportunity, as a way to grow personally, professionally, spiritually? Ask yourself what have you ever gotten when playing it safe and in staying in what you know? .
The hardest step is saying YES to the NEW, saying YES to the unfamiliar, saying YES to that part of you that wants more (and deserves more), saying YES to your future self. 🙌🏼💕
This has been my year of YES! I’ve learned that the best rewards are on the other side of YES and NEW! 🌈What are you saying YES to today?
