WEEK 3, day 3
Just a little about me:
Other than the fact that my name is Beth. 😉 I love all things uplifting and positive.🙋🏾♀️ I haven't always been this way. I actually had to cultivate an appreciation of reading books that grow my mind and fine tune my 'personality'. 💆🏿♀️The first book that ever did that was the Bible. 📖 If you haven't already read Proverbs, read it. Oh yeah about me... I prefer to achieve small accomplishments over doing nothing at all.👍🏾 However, if I get over stimulated I find that doing nothing is absolutely necessary. 🤦🏿♀️ Yeah, I know that's pretty oxymoronic. 🤷🏿♀️ Which is why I am so protective of my time. 🤺
Anyhow, enough about me.
If you have read this far you are beyond awesome.🎉 I hope you know that! How us your journey? Are you making progress? Are you having any setbacks? How are you overcoming them?
No matter the journey you are on I encourage you to value moments over things. Seek adventure over souvenirs. Seek adventure over souvenirs. Enjoy the people and appreciate them well.
I've learned, correction I am currently learning to see the world less as a consumer and more as an explorer. There is more to life than buying and showing off things. Our value is who we are within not what we wear or how much we earn. Somewhere on the timeline things went completely wrong and the eyes began to think more that the brain. The sum of a man (or woman) should not include things. *
I am on a mission to fully develop my mind, body, and spirituality. I've been warned that many won't understand and may even thing that I'm crazy. That in itself is okay because those aren't my. *
My people are the ones that encourage me to keep trying. My people are the ones that are trying to achieve their personal goals too! My people are the ones who offer sound advice. My people are the ones I talk to about my sacrifices. My people understand. *
Who are your people? I'd like to be. What journey are you on?
My Christmas present from my spouse came in yesterday and it's fucking awesome. A Starfleet insignia with a blue topaz stone signifying a science officer. I really do have the best spouse.
Q’s antics are great, please vote on whether you like the “Big Freeze” or the “Irish Setter Trick”. Thanks to Don @ddldavis1817
for reminding me of the second one.
118ish lbs........ I still have a looooooong way to go but I am putting in the necessary work. 🏋🏿♀️ I am keeping my health in front of me as a reason to stay on this journey. I'm 11 days in with #ri28
now and I've missed 2 of the workouts (due to schedule conflicts) but I'll make those up at the end of the challenge. Though I've missed those workouts I've still managed to get in some form of physical activity every day. The way I am eating 🍽 is helping a whole lot. Yes I am eating up to 5 times a day! I have also been getting an extra push from other people's journeys. 👀 Those that are starting and those that have been successful. Doing so helps me to see that I can be healthy again.💯 Granted I can't say every day is easy because some days are a struggle to balance my daily responsibilities with reaching out for new goals. However, I know it takes work to get to the next level, so hard work is what I shall do. Having a schedule ✍🏿 is a really big help because I can look ahead and see what I am doing and what I will be achieving.
I am so thankful that you are on this journey with me. All your comments and likes have been encouraging. Thank you for being you! 😘😘 ******Tag a planner account or fitness journey account so I can get some tips and motivation.******
