Opera is a metro station located at the central district of Madrid 🇪🇸
From here travelers will find the Plaza de Oriente, as well as the Royale Palace. 🇪🇸
It’s name comes from the nearby Opera house, @teatro_real
which was founded by King Ferdinand VII in 1818.
the only thing i was think on my flight to Delhi was « what the F am I doing », the closer we got the bigger the F became.
But eventually the plan touched down, i got through passport control and ended up in a world i’d read about so much. But nothing didn’t prepares you for the reality of it.
Plan is: to buy a 350cc Royal Entfield and ride it 3500km south to Pondicherry.
I would totally live here. If it wasn’t for the weather.
New York right before the rain.
Cozy little coffee shop ☕️ When are we getting an iced coffee emoji?
My granola-crunchin’ liberal self was excited when I learned that Gaferut was ruled by a female chief 🍋. It was only a few hours before arriving to the uninhabited island that I was informed that the chief was indeed female...a female crab 🦀. My last experience with coconut crabs was in RMI where we feasted on the gigantic creatures without inhibition (according to our crew, the “balls” are the tastiest part 😬), so it was a bit of a twist spending the night in Gaferut where the crabs are revered as sacred spirits. You cannot touch the crabs, you cannot eat the crabs. They are the people of the island.
Plus, all visitors are required to present the chief - that fire red beaut in the 2nd photo- with gifts in order to receive her blessing for a safe journey onward. According to local lore, the chief has been caught crying after moving presentations. I didn’t see her cry during our offering, but her minions of hermit crabs were eager to accept our gifts of crackers, cigarettes & fruit (yes, our team even lit a cig for our home girl). This story sounds completely made up after returning back to the States where I can literally eat as much as I want until the meat sweats lull me into a food coma, but there’s a life lesson here about the Carolinian culture of conservation that I can appreciate from Gaferut. 🙏🏽

Since opening in 1997 the Mason Elephant Park & Lodge has garnered a reputation around the world as the blueprint on how elephants should be cared for in captivity. Set in the misty hinterlands of Taro, this multi-award winning park is Bali’s only dedicated elephant rescue facility and is home to 31 endangered Sumatran elephants, 4 of which were born here. The park provides guests with the opportunity to interact and learn about these gentle giants while giving the elephants a comfortable and safe environment.
The Park is set in 3.5 hectares and has been carefully landscaped to mimic as much as possible the original environment of the elephants’ previous home in Sumatra. The location in central Bali was also chosen for its cooler climate and more tropical location. For those reasons the elephants are kept cool and comfortable in this lush tranquil landscape.

Nothing fuels success more than passion. It's difficult to force ourselves to do something and succeed at it. Generally, if you do something you want to do and work towards it, nothing can stop you. When I went to New York, I had no plans of where I would go or what I would do. It was the most spontaneous things I've ever done, which included getting lost at night without any data or wifi. I shot what I saw and hoped I would get something. When I came home from the trip, I was surprised at how many pictures I was pleased with even though I was only there for 3 days. Anyways, enjoy the post :) P.s my dumbass didn’t even go on the brooklyn bridge 😭
Just looking for more wine...
Shoutout and kisses to all my wanderlusting Queens worldwide 👑❤️
