Back in action after a longer-than-expected posting hiatus. 🙏🏼 Not that I haven’t been traveling and seeing amazing things around London these last several weeks, but the reality is: 🚨 Reality. Is. BUSY. 🤦🏼♀️ The 9-to-5 has been consuming all of my energy this last month, so in the evenings and on the weekends, I’ve already had all of the creative juices drained out of me. It sounds depressing, but sometimes you just have to ride it out and wait for the perfect inspired moment to dive back in.
I’ve been reading a lot again lately and discovering new music on my daily commute, so between that and planning new travel for next month (it’s BIG!!!), I am finally feeling those creative juices seep back into my system. #feelingjuicy
Even though it’s not quite #Thursday
yet, I am at long last sharing one of my favorite photos from my spontaneous trip to Warsaw last month. Warsaw Old Town was so charming and colorful—even though 90% of the buildings were destroyed in WWII, they were eventually restored in the original style (thank goodness for that).
I don’t really know what I expected from #Poland
in terms of architecture and style—honestly, I was a bit ignorant on all things Polish (other than vodka & pierogies), but I can now safely say that every surprise about Warsaw was of the MOST pleasant nature. Such a charming city with so much history (and let’s say a “lively” nightlife! 🍸🍻🥃🥂).
