I’m not the best snowboarder. 🤷🏼♀️ I struggle in deep powder, get timid in whiteout conditions, and can only take the smallest jumps in the park. But I try to remind myself that I didn’t grow up around this sport and started much later in life than most of my friends and it’s okay to take my time. •
Sometimes I think I spread myself too thin, that because I have a thousand hobbies I can’t give enough attention to any particular one, so I just find myself perfectly average at a bunch of things instead of incredible at any one.
But as much as I envy people who have the discipline to commit to a particular craft, I’m too curious to not dabble in a little of everything, and get easily sucked into new stuff. (One of my new goals is to try to learn some skateboard tricks, so stay tuned for gory tales of my concrete injuries 🙃)
What about you- are you more of a dabbler or a specialist? 🏂🧗♀️🏄🏼♀️🎸🧘🏼♀️🎨🏊♀️
Canada was voted the second most beautiful place in the world behind Scotland. I’ve been to Scotland, and they don’t have anything quite like this (although they do have irn bru, and that is basically just as magical)
