Was still feeling a little under the weather, so breathing while squatting was an issue.. This is the last set of 5 sets of 6 rep Squat Supersets. Only ended up getting 4x4 on this last set but I'll take it. The workout is Front Squats supersetted with Back Squats. Yes I did say Front Squats supersetted with Back Squats. Talk about a brutal squat/cardio workout. If you want to try this do 5 sets of at least 5 reps per set. Base the weight off of your Front Squat numbers. Complete your Front Squats first then immediately do the same amount of reps for Back Squats.

BUILD A BACK By @skiman.factual.fitness  - Follow @gym_fit_union It looks complicated and intimidating but it’s important to realize that most back exercises overlap and will hit multiple areas of your back simultaneously. You don’t necessarily need a specific exercise for each part. - The latissimus dorsi (lats) is one of the largest muscles of the back which gives you that v-taper. Pull-ups and pulldowns target your lats but your lats are also pretty heavily involved in rows. Although the teres major is technically a separate muscle, you’ll be hitting it with the same exercises. - The rhomboids are in the middle of your back and can be targeted with rows. The trapezius (traps) are at the top and visible from the front but they actually extend much lower down the back than people realize. They are directly targeted with shrugs but deadlifts do a pretty good job hitting them too (as well as your entire back). - The rear delts are involved in just about every back exercise but to isolate them, face pulls and reverse flyes are my favorite. Facepulls will take care of the teres minor as well. - Although it looks complicated, to simplify things and make sure you’re hitting everything, I recommend 2-4 vertical pulls (pull ups, pulldowns) and 2-4 horizontal pulls (barbell rows, cable rows) spread over 2 sessions per week. Build Your Chest by @trainwithcarsen _ Follow @trainwithcarsen for more amazing content just like this! _ To a build a full & complete chest, it’s important that you know how to train the different portions of the chest (upper, lower, mid). Simple chest presses and pushups will only get you so far! _ To direct the emphasis to different portions of the chest, ✅you simply need to alter the line of tension in accordance with the direction of the muscle fibers. 💢For instance - your lower pec fibers run from the front of the shoulders down and towards your midline. Therefore - a chest fly, bringing the cables from a high position to a low position, is in accordance with the direction the muscle fibers run. _ If you don’t want to go and study the direction different muscle fibers run, you can simply stick to this cheat sheet to understand the different exercises that work the upper and lower portion of your chest. _ Start to examine your chest and spot out lagging areas. For me, my upper chest was lagging so I dedicated this past month to building up my incline chest press.
