Learnt a lot of history yesterday and got to walk through the old hospital on Ellis Island. We had to wear hard hats just in case something fell -- I'm still kinda disappointed nothing fell on me. But I did learn a lot about immigration and realized how much medicine had evolved since then.
The best part was when we got to sit in the morgue. It was designed like a lecture theater. And this is because, Ellis island was a teaching hospital and they would do autopsies for doctors and nurses all over the world. Pretty un real.
