3 years ago. I was completely sedentary, ate absolutely horribly, and my body quickly became soft. I went from by far the best shape of my life to this first pic in about 6 months! Undoing two 3 years hard work. I began to make heathier choices shortly after these pics.
Summer 2017. I tore my ACL during provincials floor hockey. I was devastated... This was my most significant injury to date. However, after surgery on December 1st, 2017 I was determined to get healed up. Just 6 weeks post surgery I purchased tickets for #toughmudder2018
8 months in advance with the goal of being fit enough to finish. I successfully achieved this goal by far and large due to the support and help from @gabbyy.smith
I couldn't have done it without her. From the crazy groggy days immediately post surgery, to the encouragement and support through the whole process, she was my rock.
And finally, me this last month. I'm fully healed up, played hockey for the first time again, and am bigger and lifting more weight than I ever have before. I have new goals in mind, and after a brief week right now to plan and adjust will be going on a cut for the first time. Curious to see how I'll handle it and how my body will adapt. Here's to #2019
